Bio

Cam grew up acting in school plays and making home movies with friends in the rain-soaked, working-class suburbs of the Pacific Northwest. After serving a brief stint in The Marine Corps, he won a scholarship to study full-time for two years at The Lee Strasberg Acting Workshop in Seattle. He later moved to Los Angeles, where he studied at the famous Actor’s Studio as a work observer and worked as an actor. It was after he appeared in two short films at The Sundance Film Festival in 2003, that he decided that he really wanted to get behind the camera. In 2005, Cam was accepted on scholarship into the prestigious undergraduate film program at Art Center College of Design, where he won a Gold Addy Award, 4 Telly Awards, and was shortlisted for a Cannes Young Director Award. His first short, “Kicking Sand in Your Face”, had a successful run on the festival circuit, and sold to cable networks in Canada and Europe. Cam's latest short film, "the end" will be premiering soon. He currently resides in Los Angeles.
