This was by far one of the sweetest screenplays I've ever read; it was full of heart, and some sequences really were outstanding and very touching. (specifically, when the Halloween 'ghost' gives John some candy, and then later when John finds Jane at her apartment. Both scenes were fantastic, and written and paced perfectly) I really did like and empathize with both lead... read

As a big fan of comedy (and karaoke), I was really happy to get this assignment. Your writing style is professional, and this is a fun read. Ezra and Emma are likable characters, and they have good chemistry, so well done there. I especially liked their meet cute (and the general nod to movie meet-cutes via Ezra's attempts). I really like a lot of the comedy on display... read

Hm. This is a tough one. You can write the hell out of a screenplay, and I'll give you excellent marks for several aspects of this, but I just can't get past the fact that this is, at best, an exercise. Thanks for taking the time to review "Ten Day Free Trial." I appreciate your input. No, I am not discouraged by any means as I grade reviews on a curve and tend to look at the big picture.

    Take care,

    Reggie.

Hey mate thanks so much for the review of crossing the road. I definitely agree with you regarding the conflict and some of the scene pacing (both of which I'm currently knee deep in fixing for the next draft). Much obliged for your input and I hope to return the favor soon! -jeffrey

Thank you for the thank you. Honestly, the thing that seemed strangest to me about the script was, for being about Rock and Roll, how there wasn't that many musical performances. If it were my script I would have more performances in there. It's a great concept and I hope you continue to develop it.
