This is a cute little film that tries to become a silent black and white comedy but lacks a couple of important aspects. First of all, a video filter that would give it a worn-out quality would be better than just using the black and white filter. Some faster pacing would have been better too.

This looks like a little project a couple of friends came up with during playing uno or hanging out. I don't think it would be fair to treat it equally with films that actually cost a lot of time and money to make but it did have a funny payoff and some good editing.

the punch line to this overly long film was very obvious and it made me feel uneasy having to watch the whole thing. It could have been much shorter. But I'm guessing the main reason to make this film was to exercise some cool editing techniques and in that case it mostly works. Although the repetition of the hit on the intruder was a bit too much.

why am I even reviewing this film? It already got into the first short film festival and it looks like it already achieved what it was set out to do. Oh well. I guess I can just do it for the credits. Overall, this was a very effective thriller with good execution and editing. I liked the bit with the pulse at the end. creepy.

This is a very intriguing little clip made all the more powerful by the fact that you claim it takes place in 1986, which gives the home made special effects a lot more credibility, since the green screen and schlobby audio makes it look like it was shot back then. Very good job. Would have loved to see the blood though. Wasn't in the budget?

This is basically some home video footage that was put together by a couple of friends and narrated by maybe the most monosyllabic person on the face of the earth. It's not a complete film. It doesn't even have credits. It seems like two friends got extremely bored one day and decided to make a movie in five minutes.

This is a small piece that sticks to its subject matter of reverse racism and paranoia and deals with it in a humorous yet poignant way. It's very short and gets to the point quickly. It basically has a very simple premise and the punchline comes after a couple of lines. Good pacing, acting and visuals.
