First Light is a UK charity which aims to inspire young people from all backgrounds to tell their stories through film. My job is to actively seek screening opportunities on behalf of the young filmmakers that complete film projects with First Light. First Light places young people at the heart of all we do. The more I can demonstrate the successes of these films the more likely the scheme is to benefit more young UK filmmakers in the future.

A review of My One and Onlyby First Light on 07/12/2010I really enjoyed this short. The voice-over had great tone & pace. The storyline very orignal & carried the whole thing. The music could have been a bit more uplifting. I liked the flying saucer wedding vehicle, tying nicely in with him being a mad as a box of frogs. To then read this was done in 24hrs is amazing - I want to see what you can do with more time. -
A review of Twoby First Light on 07/01/2010Great idea - what happens after an argument, so much to communicate. I loved the frame of the woman smoking in the window with the pan down as she collapsed on the bed. Overall a bit too long for me but the time was taken to illustrate effectively that introspective pondering we all do after a row.
