    Although the mysterious hitch hicker story isn't original I did enjoy watching this short. First of all, I thought the camera work was excellent. The lighting too was very atmospheric and the creepy incidental music really worked to create a dangerous mood. The acting was spot on also.     Great short film. Full of energy and imagination. Very funny too. Parts of it reminded me of Peter Jackson's first feature, Bad taste, especially the final shots where Grandma has her scalp sliced. Strong story with an excellent resolution. I can see why the director won first prize at University. Best of luck.

    Snappy lines and sexy femme fatales are usually what people imagine when film noir is mentioned. But greed, lust and obsession are the staple ingrediants which really drive these movies.
