Great plot. Wouldn't change a thing (well actually, don't need the intro/cab driver if you need to tighten it and too many slaps at the end. Have her apply her newfound understanding of hockey). In spite of considerable action, it came across as being wooden, with too many talking heads. Removing that tie in to dialogue will make it a much more enjoyable read.
