    Interesting subject matter and a tight story. In fact, it is almost too tight. I would like to have seen Daniel jump through some more hurdles. He doesn’t really drive the action until he goes to Caracas. Also, the dialogue needs work. There’s too much repeating of information that isn’t important.     The biggest problem is the lack of conflict. For example, we never see peoples’ reactions to Thomas squiring the plain Janice around. And what does Thomas think about her feeling she has to improve herself? Also, she doesn’t confront him about flirting with other girls and when he becomes angry with her and the Italian guy, she does nothing about it. Then they break... read

    What I enjoyed most about the script were the colorful and differentiated characters, especially Nicholas, even though he only exists in Christopher’s imagination for most of the movie. The locations are also good, especially in using activities to describe them. The ending was very satisfying. I thought the first act was too long and too even in tone. It might benefit... read
