I hate this film for one reason...I can't say anything bad about it. Even at the moments when I thought "Oh, that looks weak" or "I don't think that works," I find out I'm wrong. It's all good. Even the entire dream thing is so contrived, it works so well. And what sells the entire movie is that expression at the end, the here-we-go-again meets bring-it-on look. You made great...
I hate this film for one reason...I can't say anything bad about it. Even at the moments when I thought "Oh, that looks weak" or "I don't think that works," I find out I'm wrong. It's all good. Even the entire dream thing is so contrived, it works so well. And what sells the entire movie is that expression at the end, the here-we-go-again meets bring-it-on look. You made great choices in the writing and shots. You never lose your characters. You accentuate your hero with a robe becoming a cape (could have been used a bit more). And it was shot well. It just goes to show how wrong all those stupid people are who think that film is infinitely better than video. The film rocks. You rock.

The shots and editing style is so delicious. It flows like a poem. But most importantly, it was convincing. So many crime shorts have the wrong look, bad acting, and dollar-store props. Not this film. From the begining, I bought into this world you subtly painted. You've obviously made this film with a lot of care, but the basics of the story fell through. I don't know much about the character. I don't feel for him when he passes. Maybe that was the effect you were going for, but it was vague. I don't know if he was seeking repentance, feeling guilt, or if his death was just another "oh-well."Aside from that, good job.

The dialogue was forced and unnatural. Read a couple of books about serial killers. Get better ideas that a man who killed women. Cliche.The music sounded spooky but none of the shots were; the two didn't match. It doesn't make much sense to play the haunting music on top of a minister walking down a hall. The off-screen sounds weren't mixed well. And, I'm sure the acting could...

You had a couple of good shots like the prisoner when he was strapped on the table. But a few good shots won't make up for a weak film.

Sure, the film doesn't have a strong narrative structure. Sure, it lacks through-action. Sure, the lighting needs work. But, it's a comedy, and it made me laugh. That's all that matters. The films explores this very simple character who is thrown into a simple situation of a blackout, which in most cases is a complicated scenario. But it's light-hearted nature and the guy dancing...
Sure, the film doesn't have a strong narrative structure. Sure, it lacks through-action. Sure, the lighting needs work. But, it's a comedy, and it made me laugh. That's all that matters. The films explores this very simple character who is thrown into a simple situation of a blackout, which in most cases is a complicated scenario. But it's light-hearted nature and the guy dancing in his socks keeps me amused. If I want to give the writer more credit than he probaly deserves, I can B.S. how the writing is very circular and pungent in the end. It felt like one of the pages from "Catcher in The Rye" coming to life.My only complaint is that it is a poor audio recording of the voice over.

Looks good to me. It's always a challenge shootig a fight scene. You did a good job balancing to show the struggle but not too much of it. I was disappointed that the main antagonist hardly fought back, but it still works. Btw, the music overall was perfect. The acting of Bryan and Eric is just not believable for me. Try cutting out their lines, especially in the car. We all...
Looks good to me. It's always a challenge shootig a fight scene. You did a good job balancing to show the struggle but not too much of it. I was disappointed that the main antagonist hardly fought back, but it still works. Btw, the music overall was perfect. The acting of Bryan and Eric is just not believable for me. Try cutting out their lines, especially in the car. We all know where Bryan is coming from and he doesn't need to state it. If you were to cut about a minute and a half from this piece, you'd have a pretty decent film. I only wish that there was more substance to the characters, they seem too stereotypical.

Maybe if Shatner was to re-enact the entire civil movement towards the end, or Bill Cosby teaming up with him to play a white political figure. It's a shame that it was just a simple...

It's a shame that it was just a simple joke with little follow-through, because I thought the animation and music was good. If you wish to continue with this type of humor, I suggest watching the movie UHF starring Weird Al which contains a funny skit about Ghandi.
