And now dessert
An Elmer Lang movie is like a sorbet, a cool confection that cleanses the palate and removes all the nasty tastes from one's mouth. And this one is no exception. If memory serves (and it often don't), I reviewed ELMER'S GOT A GIRLFRIEND v. 1.0 and I enjoyed it, and ditto this. It's always good to see old footage of Elmer, sort of like reading an origins issue of Marvel Comics that shows how Spiderman or some other superhero came to be who he is today.

A review of Smile for meby grouchobeer on 01/03/2008A very pleasant if music videoish movie, performed well by a game, talented, appealing cast. The cinematography, editing, lighting, and costumes are all done well. Unfortunately, the sound is terrible, but that's simple enough to remedy. if you re-record the song or can somehow fix what you have here, this will be a winner.
