Digital Divide
There was a beginning middle and end and a consequence for one's actions in this story. The lighting and focus was not what I am used to seeing as a finished short film submission. The sound quality was clear but acting seemed like people who are trying their best at being actors for the first time: friends who are doing a favor. Clever positioning of the idea of addiction to a game, though.
Keep at it.

    Brief, almost like a hallucination. The story loses something in having little to establish it. Maybe there is more that you could add that might flesh it out?     Yikes. So, yes, brilliant photography, sound, and enough splashing about that watching this short was akin to imitating a table fan -- back and forth -- forth and back. Why keep looking?     This needs a little more post production. Sound knocked out a line from the kid to the man when they were at the kitchen table. Also, why would someone go into someone else's refrigerator to get a drink? He was a guest of the man. That didn't come off right or natural to the scene. The acting between the girl and the boy was stilted, and it could have been their acting... read
