There's a lot to enjoy here. Some nice camera angles set a good feeling of being watched. Some of the framing didn't feel quite right. I felt I was seeing too much of the ground whilst looking at the house. Some other shots would have been nice when the car was driving up to the house. An interior shot maybe in the car.
Obvious parrallels to the Japanese horrors were evident. The music was a bit irritating. I think all it needed was a few chimes and atmospheric horns or something with foley. Sometimes silence can be terrifying.
Great work, I think you could improve on this just by adding a couple of shots and dialing down the music. Keep up the good work.

A review of Tell 'em, Elmerby StiK on 02/24/2010I quite enjoyed this little story, it was nicely shot and well delivered. I'm not really sure what the point was, but the execution of the little story was handled well. I'd like to see the creator expand on his storytelling and see what he comes up with. I came away a little happier, so job done.

A review of "The Nice Guy"by StiK on 02/15/2010Bottomline I enjoyed this little Vox pop. I would have liked to have seen a wider age range. The man or woman that have seen it all before and come out the other side of good or bad relationships. I think that would have given it more texture as it were. But on the whole it was a very accomplished movie. It made me laugh, but I do wonder as a species, how we ever get down... read
