Inventing review
Interesting story. Forgive me for being thickheaded, but I wasn't sure if Stephen had just gone through a divorce or his wife and child were dead. Anhow... I liked the fact that you uploaded this with a semi movie-screen size format.

Camerawork - I enjoyed the glide-cam panning effects. There were a few places where the camera looked just a bit shaky though. Your shots looked nicely composited and framed. Nice colorbalancing, with the exception of the scenes in the bedroom and at the very end. The difference in the colorbalancing is drastic. These scenes appear very flat. Editing was good.

Audio - sounded good. I liked the ambient noise of the party, it sounded very realistic.

Acting - very professional

All in all, I liked this short. And I'm also thankful that I'm not single. Thanks for the view!

Yes... indeed it is, since I'm a fan of Mr. Lang's. This was a wonderful short. I loved the way you tied even trivial bits of information into your story. Bravo! Camerawork: - Well done. Your shots looked very composed and framed edited nicely. The stock footage used worked well and fit in smoothly with the other edits. Audio/Music - I enjoyed the background music.... read

This short came off as being just a segment of a story. Somewhere in the middle, perhaps. I have no clue as to how the 'victim' ended up being kidnapped, and who his 'replacement' was (i read the credits). I'm sorry to say that doesn't appear to be a complete film, or maybe I'm just missing something? Anyways... on to the review. Camerawork: Nicely done. The colors were... read

This short was very cleverly done. The twist at the ending was great, and really any of the scenarios could be easily applied. Camerawork: Very well done. Good framing and composition. I liked the way the edits, at the end, were well synchronized with the music. The edits between his listening to his voice mail, to what his girlfriend was doing, was well done. Audio/Music:... read
