The black and white photography was gorgeous. The sound, not so much. And there's no excuse, since it's all voice over, done in post. Altho I enjoyed the images, the movie could have been tightened up a bit as it goes on long after the narrator is done speaking.

A review of Smile for meby grouchobeer on 01/03/2008A very pleasant if music videoish movie, performed well by a game, talented, appealing cast. The cinematography, editing, lighting, and costumes are all done well. Unfortunately, the sound is terrible, but that's simple enough to remedy. if you re-record the song or can somehow fix what you have here, this will be a winner.

It's always good to see old footage of Elmer, sort of like reading an origins issue of Marvel Comics... read
