Pay off
I was most impressed by the camera work in this short. The compositions, lighting, and angels were all well thoughtout and used appropriately for your story. I did however feel the overall piece needs to be cut tighter. Some of the chase scenes run too long, and as an audience member I wanted to turn your short off about three quarters through. But the music and shots kept my interest. The actors were not believable. That is the one thing that showed this was a college-esq short. You should have cast two men who are 5 to 10 years older. The last suggestion was the pay off issue. You have a short that runs almost 7 min. in the end of your short showed no real Big pay off. There should have been a stronger twist other than the bald guy kills the kid. These are just suggestions, I do believe you have some great potential as filmmakers. Best of luck in the future.

A review of 7 Sins, 7 Hoursby Frazzeled Man on 09/01/2006This reminded me of some reality show. Perhaps due to the shakey hand held video look. Except this was the "best of" episode where we see the worst or best moments of the show. I would have to say I was pulled into this short from the start. Waiting to see where and what was going to happen with this dude. You may consider putting this on youtube.com

A review of Put It Downby Frazzeled Man on 09/01/2006Interesting and deep. I thought this was a nice blend of poetry and film making. This short was definately original and entertaining. The pacing was quick due to the cuts, various shots and the music. Right from the start I was locked in. I'm looking forward to some more visual poetry. Best of luck in the future.

A review of Sales Dayby Frazzeled Man on 07/28/2006Cool short. One of the better ones I've seen on this site for awhile. Quality high production value all around. Excellent cinematography!! Finally, it's good to see someone using real professional natural actors. My only problem with this short was the script. Great up to the "Reservoir Dogs" scene. The change from comedy to the drama was way too drastic for me. I would have... read
