Visually Stunning at Times
I really enjoyed the opening. Very strong. It promised great things. I started to expect a Delicatessen-esque film.
It did linger a bit on some images too long. Which was a pity, as the look of the thing was on the whole wonderful. Not much of a story, infact no story to speak of. Just emotion. It was moving art. But about 2 to 3 minutes fat. It either needed some more images, or to be cut leaner.

    On the positives, the frameing of the shots were beautiful, and it was cut together nicely. Negatives, well, it didn't really hold my attention and the sound effects started poor and actually hurt my ears about halfway through. Which wasn't a pleasant experience.     I quite enjoyed this little story, it was nicely shot and well delivered. I'm not really sure what the point was, but the execution of the little story was handled well. I'd like to see the creator expand on his storytelling and see what he comes up with. I came away a little happier, so job done.

    There's a lot to enjoy here. Some nice camera angles set a good feeling of being watched. Some of the framing didn't feel quite right. I felt I was seeing too much of the ground whilst looking at the house. Some other shots would have been nice when the car was driving up to the house. An interior shot maybe in the car. Obvious parrallels to the Japanese horrors were evident... read
