Voodoo Chile Inspires Reflection and Rebirth Credited Review
"Voodoo Chile" by Schism83 is a story which follows a young woman's journey in self reflection and rebirth. With no recollection of the evening's events a naked young woman finds herself next to a man who swore "the night I was born, the sky turned red."

The theme of the story is the illusion of happiness while struggling to break free secrets and personal desires. Torn between the physical pleasure this man, the Voodoo Chile," brings and her knowledge that she wants her life back, leaves her conflicted.

Through the man's humming and strange sayings, the woman finds her less afraid and more interested about the man himself and reveals the her decision to make changes in her life.

The title "Voodoo Chile" draws the reader in with vivid writing and characterization. It has a deeper meaning than when you first read it. Once you read the story you'll find it's never too late to restore your life and the lives of those around you.
