Bio
Graduate from The Art Institute of Dallas with a degree in video production. I started my career with KXTX Telemundo 39 as a news editor. Editing in a high energy, high paced environment helped me sharpen my storytelling skills while still meeting my deadlines. I quickly fell in love with the art of the story so I decided to try my hand as a photojournalist. Working first in a small market in Denison, Texas I learned how to carve out a story using sound, interviews, video, lighting, and editing. This experience helped me a great deal when it came time to move up to a bigger market in Dallas, Texas. Working with KUVN Univision 23 I perfected my skills as a storyteller using DVC Pro cameras, three point lighting, and Avid Media Composer. I have a great deal of experience not only out in the field but also inside of the studio. With The Liquidation Channel I learned how to command a show by switching and directing the action from the director’s chair.

A review of Descentby mestizzocine on 02/26/2012I really like the contrast in this film as far as the lighting. Personally I would have added just a tad more light especially in the living room scene, but thats just me. To be honest with you I really didn't understand the story. Why did he kill himself? What was he arguing abut? I think if the story would have been more fleshed out it would have been better for me.

A review of The Sleepover Storyby mestizzocine on 02/26/2012Great Photography, great audio, I love the shots especially at the beginning, but story wise I'm not to sure what the story was. Everything looked great technically but the story in my opinion just fell flat. I would like to have seen more story. The kids were cute but a little too much profanity for my taste.

A review of Tickin' (An Angry man in his home)by mestizzocine on 02/26/2012The whole profanity thing was funny for about the first 10 seconds, but then it got old pretty quick. I'm not sure what was the purpose of the video. If it was to make people laugh then it accomplished it for the first 10 seconds. The sequences were cut well. The living room, to the kitchen, and then to the bathroom. Technically the audio was off from sequence to sequence... read
