I liked it. The commercials got more outrageous as time passed, and I liked how you used segues from one commercial to the next, leading to that circular ending. Overall, it was well done, some of the jokes could have been pulled off a little bit better, but this piece was of good quality, both in the production and the comedy. Good job.

A review of IN THE MIND

There was a real sense of anxiety here, a rarity for the films on triggerstreet. The shots were handled well, the sound was good, and the music perfectly complemented the action. I actually cared about what happened next, again something that seems to be rare about the films on this site. The make-up and cuts were good as well. Overall, just a good piece.

Good concept, and a clever way to play off the anti-drug commercials. Your film takes the whole buy American thing to the extremes, and that's why this short is amusing. The acting was good, the camera work was simple and to the point, as was the script. Amoral, yes, but I don't think that was the point. You satirized the typical American thought process quite well.

And when it wasn't funny, there was plenty of action to keep it entertaining. This was well shot and edited, and overall it was a funny kung-fu spoof. Yeah, it was corny, but that's the point. Parts of it were genuinely funny either way though. The fights were well done, and the acting was good for what it was. Entertaining short.
