A review of The Treeby mournful bird on 12/07/2008I like the look of this film a lot. I would love to see a high quality version of it, since it was shot on 16mm. I'm always impressed by stop-motion. This one reminded me of Wallace & Grommit meets Evil Dead or something. I think the story could have been a a little leaner; some of the "dialogue" interactions seemed extraneous, as the story could be understood through the visuals... read

Clearly the couple was new in town, but why did the husband have things thrown at him, and what happened to the wife; was she targeted or was it an accident?
