I like the look of this film a lot. I would love to see a high quality version of it, since it was shot on 16mm. I'm always impressed by stop-motion. This one reminded me of Wallace & Grommit meets Evil Dead or something. I think this story needs a little more development. Clearly the couple was new in town, but why did the husband have things thrown at him, and what happened to the wife; was she targeted or was it an accident? A delightfully gay romp, in the old-tyme sense of the word, of course; two very happy boys indeed. Spandex, Mickey ears, and mouse-traps; all of the elements for a perfect abridged Nutcracker. The only things missing were sugar plum fairies. I laughed, I winced, I almost watched it twice. Nice!

This was a funny short, good for a few chuckles. I thought the Guy Ritchie-esque visual style worked well for this -- the occasional whip-pan and zoom. It was well-paced and the lead actor was funny.
