I'm an actor, been trying to make a living at it for the last 20 years and not making much progress... but am always looking for that mythical 'big break'! I've had a few ideas for screenplays over the last few years...

I'm an actor, been trying to make a living at it for the last 20 years and not making much progress... but am always looking for that mythical 'big break'! I've had a few ideas for screenplays over the last few years while living in Japan and am now trying to develop those ideas into a job for myself... hey, if no-one out there's going to give me a job, surely I won't fail the audition for my own ;)

    Sweet film, nicely shot! You got really good quality out of that DV camera! Yeah, I liked just about everything in this film, nice story, well thought out and shot, nice framing. The 'actor' didn't have to do much but I liked his presence - am curious though as to why you had a male VO for his Mom's letter... I'm guessing it was meant to be the actor reading it in his own head,... read

    I'm absolutely the wrong person to review something like this... I have no interest in animation and had I realised it was I wouldn't have bothered, but since I promised to review it I will.     Very nicely shot guys! I would never have guessed this was your first experience with 'actual' film, so well done!!! I liked the story and the characters, not so much the acting though. The framing of your shots and the pace of the film worked well, maybe a little ponderous at times but it gave the audience the opportunity to think a bit more so it didn't bother me! I'll be... read
