Epics are a difficult to write and I give you credit for the amount of detail that you put into this. However, I do believe that there a few things that could be tinkered a bit. With all great war epics, dialogue seems to be used to augment the character development in some way. At times, I found scenes to be wordy and not enough about the emotion of what was happening...

With all great war epics, dialogue seems to be used to augment the character development in some way. At times, I found scenes to be wordy and not enough about the emotion of what was happening. I recommend that you go back and take a look at some of the scenes with a lot of dialogue and see if there are some thigns that you could cut out. At 130 pages, people may get tired of the dialogue and would much rather see (rather than being told) what is happening. This is very good work, though. It has potential to be great.
