I think there is a great story somewhere in here. It all seemed a bit awkward though. How did he get to where he was at? Was it something that was all of a sudden or was it a gradual decline to where he started hallucinating? Lighting was not very good at all. the lead was drowned out in white and it looked like he wasn't wearing a shirt and had writing on his chest up until... read

Hi Red. Just wanted to drop a note and congratulate you on getting your first film done. My review limit for the day is exhausted so I could not do an official review. It is very hard to do a silent film and convey a substantial story, but you pulled it off. The ending was a funny twist that changed the shape of everything we had been expecting. Nice. The film suffered a bit from some pans that were a little too fast and caused some blurring, but that may have partly been from compression issues. The acting was a bit exaggerated in spots (when they guy yawns, when the girl sits on the bench), but due to it being a silent film it's not uncommon to push these actions a bit. As a first film this is a commendable effort I bet you learned much from. Best of luck with new projects. Getting out and doing them is the best teacher.
