HOW IT RATES
Rhys lives with his father, Clive, in a small Welsh village. He is desperate to meet his estranged mother, Susan, who walked out on them when he was a baby. Afflicted by this obsession, he is withdrawn, refuses to attend school and works in his father’s bakery shop. When Susan arrives in the village, out of the blue, she’s keen to make amends and renew her relationship with her son. Her influence soon becomes all consuming, but does really want to help Rhys, or destroy his relationship with his flawed, but loyal father?
