• "Four Horsemen" is adapted from the 1919 public domain novel, "Los Cuatro Jinetes del Apocalipsis" by Vicente Blasco Ibanez. The seeds for the Nazi party's position on racial superiority were sewn in the nineteenth century (perhaps even earlier), long before World War I. Ibanez portrayed this attitude as being widespread amongst the German masses of this time and also as one of the central motivations for them to go to war. Keep in mind that Adolf Hitler served in the Austrian army on the Eastern front. Further, historical accounts describe German atrocities and rapes and widespread looting in the regions they conquered. The picture I used to illustrate my SP came from a collection of hundreds of propaganda post cards distributed by the German government. It shows a giant German soldier strangling France, kicking England, spitting on Japan (allies of France at the time), and squashing Belgium under foot. Are the German soldiers portrayed accurately in "Four Horsemen"? I believe so. The main characters are multilingual. Whenever they speak, it is presented in English. I use a template and the formatting is fine. Some word processing programs will scramble things however. If you don't have Microsoft Word (Word Pad doesn't count), you should download a Word viewer from the TS site. This is the 6th revision.
