Synopsis
This film, produced by 'From the Flames' Productions and directed by William Blesch, is set in the 10th century Scandinavian land of Geatland. The story revolves around a heroic warrior named Beowulf, who is battle worn and tested. When his father, the mighty King Ecgtheow, is murdered, Beowulf leads a small band of warriors to conquer his tribes most feared enemy -- the Frisians (who were framed for the murder). After miraculously defeating his rival, Beowulf returns to his home victorious, only to discover that his victory was not over the true enemy. An ancient creature, long thought dead and rumored to be the purest of evils, has returned to unleash its fury on his village. Now Beowulf must face not only the murder of his father, the loss of his one true love, and the massacre of his people, he must also stand and face hell itself. It is the ultimate story of man versus nature.... good versus evil... that became the legend of Beowulf.
