  I'm not one to disrespect anyone's work because I know how tough it is to produce anything with limited means. I'll just give my professional opinion, I'm not a fan of the camera used for this short, the cinematography wasn't particularly solid either. The acting was subpar, and the score was bothersome throughout, its never a good ideal to play music over dialogue scenes,... The acting was subpar, and the score was bothersome throughout, its never a good ideal to play music over dialogue scenes, and during the intense scenes like when the guy was running down the steps to get away from his dead wife, something ominous playing can work, but not overwhelming the actor yelling in the scene.
  
  Not a bad premise, but the delivery lacks, but keep moving forward I say to the filmmaker. All the best! read

  The story was wel chosen for a short movie like this. There was only one thing which I found odd: the fiancee went very quickly and for not much of a reason, from being extremely loving to extremely suspicious. Wouldn't her first instinct be to ask what's going on and insist, rather than almost breaking up her relation? It seems harsh. The actors did a fine job, specially...   The actors did a fine job, specially the guy. The dress of the couple was well done too: the girl passed on very well as naive young woman with lots of money, and I really liked the sunglasses of the guy when he was dreaming of his previous girl. The costume of the ghost was a bit overdone though, and didn't feel serious... specially her cape.
  
  Shot composition was fine, but some shots might have benefited from some deeper colors, less exposure and a more steady camera. The quality of the video wasn't good enough to say more on visual aspects.
  
  The one thing that this movie really needs though, is better sound. You have a lot of white noise and background sounds that distract from the dialogues, and even sometimes make it harder to understand. Noise is a tricky problem for us none sound engineers, but background sounds can be avoided by using the correct mic with an audio mixer, putting the mic closer to the speakers or, in desperate times, recording the sound in a different setting. Sound is a pain though...

  Not sure if this particular piece is a stand alone episode as it says episode 2. However, based on what I saw as well as the opening text stating Tales from the Lab, I have to assume this is something akin to Tales from the Crypt, with every episode being it's own isolated story. That's the predication I'll be writing this review under. So, without any further adieu, let's talk about Til' Death Do Us Part.
  
  First off, great opening title music. In fact, the score throughout was very compelling even though it mostly was just a guitar. I think it helped establish a sort of creepy/romantic vibe without ever being too much or too cheesy. We quickly settle into the story of Richard and Lisa, who are on the verge of being betrothed. During this establishing scene, Richard also sees visions of some strange woman who makes foreboding comments at him. This pretty much telegraphs where the story is going from the beginning.
  
  The actors playing Lisa and Richard are fine enough even if they have zero chemistry. The most interesting aspect of this is Vera and finding out what the hell happened between her and Richard and what impact will that have on his relationship with Lisa. Sadly, the conclusion to this was very lackluster. This piece comes across as an early work of director DAG Burgos. No idea if it is, but it would explain certain short-comings in the piece.
  
  All in all, I was entertained despite the flaws, even though it really wasn't my cup of tea. The multiple locations were fun and interesting. I give it a C.
  
  P.S. And yes, Richard, why would you bring up an affair to your fiancee if she wasn't accusing you of anything? Kinda stupid, if ya ask me. read

  A film is always worth respect because it requires so much work. It is always difficult to pull through a project a bit too big. This film is unfortunately too amateurish. The framing is not always good, the cutting inadequate, the production values minimal. The story itself would have worked better had it been trimmed and further reworked. The actors do their best and the... A film is always worth respect because it requires so much work. It is always difficult to pull through a project a bit too big. The story itself would have worked better had it been trimmed and further reworked. The actors do their best and the 2 older protagonists are doing ok. The younger actress has less moments. All these aspects could have used more preparation work. It takes time to make a good movie, even a short, and this one seems to have been rushed. read

  This film brings the word "budget" to the forefront as the resolution almost made it unwatchable; not to mention that my player hung up and had to be restarted 4 times. As far as content, I liked the premise of the haunted ex-wife. However, the ending kind of punishes the otherwise innocent fiance as the man shows up frantic, leaves without telling her, and dies under mysterious...   On execution, the fiance looked like she could be the man's daughter and I was uncomfortable with the actors speaking directly into the camera. Over the should shots would have been better.
  
  Basically, this felt like a bizarre melodramatic dream sequence from an 80's soap opera. read

  I thought that the camera angles in this film are very interesting. The Point Of View shots, when combined with the Close-Ups, and side angles are very interesting. I feel like the POV and Close-Ups give the film more of an easy-going feel, which can be transformed with different angles. Regardless, a strong story and plot. Maybe a little variation could have helped in... I thought that the camera angles in this film are very interesting.   A great enigma is immediately established during the opening of the film by the girl walking through what looks like cloud. The dialogue was believable as it was well written, but was let down at times by the deliverance from the actors. The music, whilst well composed and enjoyable didn’t quite seem to fit the mood of the film all of the time. Parts of the plot seemed...   Hello! There's a good story here somewhere, but I'm afraid it wasn't captured in this short. The acting was stiff. I didn't believe this couple was in love and the man looked like he could have been his love interests father. Reaction shots looked like stills. Picture out of focus. Music chimed the same repetitive cord to the point of annoyance. Logline said something about... Hello!

  As a Brit, the only way I know what a U.S Soap Opera looks like is when they show them in Sitcoms (such as Friends). So whether or not that makes my comparison to them worse I don't know. Let me first say the good points of this short. I quite liked the initial idea of the plot. A simple premise which could, as has, span an entire Movie. Now the bad points, and I apologise... As a Brit, the only way I know what a U.S Soap Opera looks like is when they show them in Sitcoms (such as Friends). So whether or not that makes my comparison to them worse I don't know.
  Let me first say the good points of this short. I quite liked the initial idea of the plot. A simple premise which could, as has, span an entire Movie.
  
  Now the bad points, and I apologise in advance, and this is where I hate being mean. This short struggled to get my attention. The entire look, looked extremely dated and the camera shots, especially the POV shot's, were poor. Most amateur film makers have bad camera shots in their experiments, but this one was a constant misuse of angle, scale and positioning.
  The sound struggled in parts, but I fully understand the limits of equipment.
  The Music grated on me a little and was over used when it needn't be. The tone of the story could have worked better with soft, eerie tones rather than a Porn-esque theme.
  I wasn't a massive fan of the acting. It was quite wooden, BUT I am an amateur film maker too and i know how Difficult it is getting people who can act well. The Acting is the least of the Directors worries as he must work hard on other aspects first.
  
  Anybody can be a film maker, only some can make it past an acceptable standard and only a very few make it big.
  I love seeing ambitious efforts such as this, but too many bad choices ruined it. I hope this pushes you on to make more.

  Idea was intruging from the start,a moment of cringing at the audio and camera management! A visit from a dead wife upon marriage to anther likeable and do-able.But yet this shot failed to grasp the full capability that was avaliable ie:surroundings,use of audio etc, Negativity aside screenplay great,credit to the writer.
