  Clever premise - D.A.D. Your two agents were amusing, though they should have played it a little more straight during their report (Agent White had this little smile that detracted from the audience taking them seriously. Yes, its a comedy, but the agents have to take themselves seriously, maybe too much so, in order for the joke to work.). The agents' dialogue was fairly good... Clever premise - D.A.D. The camera work was rough (maybe because the camera wasn't working properly - I don't know). The white frames were not good - completely distracting. The fish idea was unique and fairly hilarious being used by gang members. The gang members and the "doc" did a good job as "zombies" (?) or whatever undead they were. Your special effects were outstanding, especially considering your budget. However, your fight scene(s) were excrutiatingly long. I fidgeted quite a bit waiting for the ending (ditch the scene where Agent White beats the holy you-know-what out of one of the gang members with a bat/piece of wood). You could cut a huge chunk of the fight and have an even better, tighter production. With a little work, this could be an unusual short that would do fairly well. read

  Entertaining, fast and edgy. This was an ambitious undertaking and I think you caried it off well. The camera work seemed jerky to me and while doing gore special effects is fun I really didn't need to see so much. it held my interest and seemed very well paced

  Great, very funny, well done movie. I laughed most of the way through it, I loved the confusion as to whether the one fish-packer was a doctor or not, I loved how utterly horrible the violence was, while having every hand-to-hand blow sound like a light slap to the face. This was a very well put together piece of film. I'd love to see what else this guy has up his sleeve... Great, very funny, well done movie.   I really liked this little short. It was fun satire. The only real issue I had with it was the sounds. The sound mixing itself was extremely well-done, there was no drop-out of room tone or anything like that. What I mean is that I think the sounds themselves needed to be more intense. You've got such over-the-top action and gore during the action scenes, the sounds should... I really liked this little short. It was fun satire. The only real issue I had with it was the sounds.   You've got such over-the-top action and gore during the action scenes, the sounds should be meatier, bone-crunching. As it is it sounds like a slap fight. Which is kind of funny in its own way, but I think some really brutal sounds would add a lot to the action and humor. read

  I really enjoyed this short film. The action sequences where nicely framed and shot. The gore was believible. I also enjoyed the story, was rather funny in parts. I think the actors did a good job for you. And the visual's looked nice too. I think the camera that you used looked nice and the audio was pretty decent to. Overall very good job on the attempt at a action/comedy... I really enjoyed this short film. The action sequences where nicely framed and shot. The gore was believible.   I think the actors did a good job for you. And the visual's looked nice too. I think the camera that you used looked nice and the audio was pretty decent to.
  
  Overall very good job on the attempt at a action/comedy.
  I would definatly reccommend it and will watch for other stuff director/made by this guy.

  I really liked this quite a bit. I didn't like it so much at first, but by the middle, and especially the end, I realized that I did, in fact, really like it. So here's my notes I wrote through it, in order: The music is quiet, and kinda cheesy. But if it were louder, I think it would be better, even if it is cheesy. The hand symbols in the beginning, that was pretty... I really liked this quite a bit. I didn't like it so much at first, but by the middle, and especially the end, I realized that I did, in fact, really like it. So here's my notes I wrote through it, in order:

  The hand symbols in the beginning, that was pretty funny. Any movie with the Hang Loose symbol in it has my vote.
  
  It's kinda weird not seeing their director/boss/whoever is speaking to them at the beginning/end.
  
  Peeking around walls, that looks really really good.
  
  The camerawork in this is phenominal. It's hectic, but not too hectic.
  
  "We don't deal with lawyers," that's funny. And eating fish before a gunfight, that's even funnier. "Like snorting a pile of cocaine."
  
  The early fighting scenes are really really fast and kinda confusing. Why did the guy have one arm? Was the other one shot off? If so, I missed that. And it might be cool to have louder sounds in the fight scenes. I hesitate to say "sound effects," because you don't want it to be cheesy, but if you had louder punching, kicking, etc. during the fights, it would be more action-packed and all-around bad ass.
  
  When the armless dude gets hit in the face with the board, there should be a big, huge BAM sound.
  
  The gunplay is really really good. Looks realistic, barring a few blood spatterings. I couldn't believe how good it looked, espeically since you say you had under $100 in this.
  
  The compression/streaming quality of this was amazing, too. I wish I could get mine to look this good.
  
  I didn't understand where he knocks the guy's head off (?) at all. It looks like he knocks off the head, but then when the guy falls, he's got his head.
  
  When the armless dude's eye/face goes into that metal pole thing, that is AWESOME. Just completely AWESOME.
  
  These fighting scenes are absolutely insane. They look choreographed like they're right out of a real action movie, the obvious comparison being the Matrix. So you did a really, REALLY good job on the fight scenes. Just if the punching/kicking sounds were louder, it would be perfect.
  
  Poking the guy over teh edge with the bat, that was really cool.
  
  The agent going ballistic on the guy with the bat at the end, that was pretty gnarly.
  
  Kick to the head at the end looked really good.
  
  "Was the guy really a doctor?" Classic. That was pretty funny.
  
  Man, this thing was killer. It got better after the first couple of minutes, and continued getting better till the credits.
  
  I hope this gets an award or something. I'd give it two. read

  Kudos to Mr. Dixon. This is actually very well shot and mostly well edited. I say mostly because I thought the fight scene (which, I know, is kind of the point of the movie) ran kind of long. But really nice shots. Nice edits. The music works. The drawbacks: the parody doesn't fly for me. I probably would've rather seen it as straight action. And it was just horribly,... Kudos to Mr. Dixon. This is actually very well shot and mostly well edited. I say mostly because I thought the fight scene (which, I know, is kind of the point of the movie) ran kind of long. But really nice shots. Nice edits. The music works. The drawbacks: the parody doesn't fly for me. I probably would've rather seen it as straight action. And it was just horribly, horribly acted. I realize this is probably kind of out of your control. But with some experienced, older actors you could really turn out something amazing. Keep working. Nice job. read

  Liked the action pieces. Acting was good enough. I would've liked a little stronger deliveries, but that's purely subjective on my part. Directing was nice. A lot of hand-held which I'm not a big fan of personally, but again...it works for this type of piece. I thought the editing should've been tighter, but I got criticized for that in my stuff, so I'm spreading the wealth... Liked the action pieces. Acting was good enough. I would've liked a little stronger deliveries, but that's purely subjective on my part. Directing was nice. A lot of hand-held which I'm not a big fan of personally, but again...it works for this type of piece. I thought the editing should've been tighter, but I got criticized for that in my stuff, so I'm spreading the wealth here. I did notice some awkward transitions. Sound effects with the weapons were nice, but where's the 'Indiana Jones' style punch sounds. I wanted a good 'oomph' with my hits.

  i really enjoyed this. It was so well puttogether I felt like I was watching something on NBC. The music choice was very good for this film. I like teh shots then the freeze frame with the subtitles. I thought the acting was very good and the direction outstanding. Keep up the great work I reccomend this film! Hope to see it at the finals!

  The story is a bit weak from the get go, however, the editing and blocking in the fight scenes is good. The acting is pure student, with the exception of the lead agent, he has better delivery than the other actors and is almost passable. The film lacks any diversity in the sense that everbody is so clean cut and predictable, where are the woman? The violence is over the top... The violence is over the top for no real reason, and then there are the attempts at comedy while beating the brains out of some guy with a baseball bat, seen it.
  This film is a good start, and the film-maker has pontential, that is when he grows up and really thinks about a film he really wants to make, not what he thinks will get him noticed. read
