  Obviously a reason this was chosen as a festival entrant. Excellent all around production value. Camera was smooth, live audio was crisp and professional as well and the soundtrack worked thematically but also fit the mood of the piece and character so well, I'm envious! This is a prime example of a mockumentary done well. Its nice to see so many killer locations involved as... Obviously a reason this was chosen as a festival entrant. This is a prime example of a mockumentary done well. Its nice to see so many killer locations involved as well as a written storyline. You can't just ad lib the entire production and hope it comes together in editing, as I and many other film makers have attempted to do before. The difference is clear, this is a professional piece and for all of the forementioned reasons above, it works on a professional level. Very nice. Thank you for the view and for the laughs.   Meet Tom the dancing fool. Okay well great job overall. However a little color here and there would have added more to the effect, but maybe that's just me. I especially liked the line "what's a candy bar with out a wrapper" well its its just that a candy bar with out one, question is, is it safe for consumption.

  A very interesting mockumentary that has some good laughs. Really more of an interview with clips, than an actual whole film, but it still works. Reminded me of the SNL skit about the swim team with Martin Short. Tom Wright gave a very straigh and serious performance. Overall it was a very entertaining short.

  This short is the perfect fusion of overt comedy and subtle sarcasm. The passion Tom feels for his Dance Machine hobby is felt by all watching the mocumentary following his complete riot of a spiritual journey. The beach scene is nothing short of hilarious! This short comedy creates a nice emotional paradox of wanting to hug Tom and laugh at Tom all at once. Tom Wright does... This short is the perfect fusion of overt comedy and subtle sarcasm. The passion Tom feels for his Dance Machine hobby is felt by all watching the mocumentary following his complete riot of a spiritual journey. The beach scene is nothing short of hilarious! This short comedy creates a nice emotional paradox of wanting to hug Tom and laugh at Tom all at once. Tom Wright does a great job of keeping a serious demeanor. This creative team produced a nicely done, thoughtful comedy that gives viewers a lingering smile. read

  The humour and tongue in cheek documentary style reminded me very much of "The Office" - if there was to be an American version then Tom Wright would make a great protagonist. The film was really very well edited and the pacing delightful, music sprinkled in the right places and the camera work (that semi handheldness) presentable (could have been better in color I think though... The story shone though and the climax had me in stiches, although slightly predictable it worked really well. Trying not to spoil here! Could have watched Tom go for another 'dream' - bring out a series, perhaps you already have? GREAT, MORE please read

  the promo shot gave me the impression I was going to be taken in to a world classical or contemporary ballet, jazz or tap... then we meet tom, the 30something dancin man donning thing on the sony dance station. i was enjoying this right until the final cab scene when i thought to myself...   Not bad in terms of philosophy, there was some tongue and cheek that turned sour. Tom was engaging and the ending was funny, good editing and sequencing of the movement. Overall a decent short, but again the envelope could be pushed after it is opened, next time.

  This short was so funny. I can relate with the character though, it's like sometimes when we find things in life and realize that we have a passion for it, the age factors in. Dream on Dreamer that dance contest will one day be yours :o) I liked this short...hilarious, creative, and well put together.

  What a great subtle comedy. Wonderful mocumentry stylings. I enjoyed the commentary. Great editing. The story was funny and the acting was very good. this is a high quality, low budget peice, and it worked out well. My only complaint is the whole thing goes a little slow at times.

  This may be the best piece I have EVER seen here at Triggerstreet. It's hard to offer feedback when everything was done well. The camerawork was great, the music was perfect, and the writing was terrific! I appreciated the twist of the 16 and under rule at the end. I had fully expected a full throwdown! My only question is does Tom REALLY know those dance moves?
