  I loved the twist at beginning when I realized that the interchange between the characters was done solely with growls -- full points for originality! The writer successfully established the pecking order within the office by the intensity of their growls, another brilliant move. The only thing I was waiting for was a solid resolution to the story: the main character getting... The only thing I was waiting for was a solid resolution to the story: the main character getting something she wanted. If her goal was merely to get home at the end of the day in one piece, then I suppose she did. Overall, great piece. Very entertaining. read

  Raquell Welch she isn't but "2 Milliom BC" she is! The delightful film was about a corporate office bully; More than that it represented the entire spectrum of corporate office bully pecking order. The storyline was continuous with no breaks or lapses. The final ending wasn't expected and avoided transparency. There was a refreshing wittiness about the story that I enjoyed... Raquell Welch she isn't but "2 Milliom BC" she is! The delightful film was about a corporate office bully; More than that it represented the entire spectrum of corporate office bully pecking order.
  
  The storyline was continuous with no breaks or lapses. The final ending wasn't expected and avoided transparency. There was a refreshing wittiness about the story that I enjoyed.
  
  Lighting; well done
  Corporate office standard lighting mostly. The household and outside scenes were well handled.
  
  Staging; well done.
  The office scenes were augmented by numerous props that were appropreate to the story and added to the overall film mood.
  
  Film Quality: excellent.
  The film was smooth and seamless. The quality of the scenes were very carefully managed and avoided any problems.
  
  Sound quality; Good.
  the sound was af an appropreate volume and consistancy throughout. There were no distractions and the music and background sound were not good, , , they were flawless. Very Very well done.
  
  
  Acting: good.
  the acting was very good. the parts were natural and the lack of dialog required that the actors picked up with the nonverbal body language and grunts.
  
  Casting: good.
  the cast was well selected. I wes leary of the main character at first. I thought this was another fat bitch film. Wrong. She played the bully without a broom. A well cast and well performed part.
  The Man being bullied was also well done.
  All the supporting actors did a good job and their consistancy helped pull off the "2 Million BC" office scene.
  
  Art:
  did I like it? Yes.
  This is the best film I have reviewed on Trigger Street.
  Only one other film has come close in quality and I think this will be the film contest winner. read

  This is hilarious! Found myself laughing at the visual gags. This is a great example of getting things done no matter what you need to do. thought the location was the priceless factor here and due to the world of character, groning and moaning apes as it seems, the cast is excellent! I couldn't keep a straight face while shooting that. Loved when the bully went postal... This is hilarious! Found myself laughing at the visual gags. Great job staying true to your original set up of language.
  
  Great use of all the staff and office duties. My favorite was the mailroom cerk, spinning in the chair. Thanks for the laughs! read

  I loved it when the Bully finally kicked off and went to town on the people in the office. She was well cast because she looked like someone who would have been bullied too before learning the power of living life with a cycle helmet on! I have a pet hate at seeing alarm clocks in short films, they should be banned, they are used to often in short film scripts, but this film... I loved it when the Bully finally kicked off and went to town on the people in the office. The fact that the characters only growl was inspired script writing, i loved the stapler attacks and selotape web, inspired vision from the writers (well either that or they spent time getting very bored in a office at sometime in thier life). read

  This was wild. I didn't expect you to run with the idea the way you did. Very funny stuff.I think that technically you did some cool camera work, editing etc.. Once the staple gun came out i was way into the movie. That scene were everybody is together in the office growling away, was freaky. Great job. Continued Success.

  Who doesn't like going after the corporate office? For artists it's the other half of the line, the other team. But you can't just attack something without saying anything about it. Here we a day in the life sketch that drags on endlessly and seems to be saying that after a hard day of murdering co-workers with staplers one just needs a good foot massage.All expressed through... Still I am forever impressed with anyone who can coordinate that many people for any kind of project. Look at the cast list, that's incredible. It's obvious that you have the technical chops, lighting was fine, camera work was good, especially for those tight office spaces.Just the story's a little weak. I mean... who doesn't need a good foot massage. read

  This had a great romp feel about it and subversive use of communication. Perhaps some of the humour was more 'in-joke' than I could appreciate but for a one man effort it was well worth watching -I'd like to see something a little more coherent from Phillip, more structure and a little more attention to shots because you can see the promise here

  In a world full of rage, that will explain why no one talks and everyone growls, a very cleaver portrayal. After viewing the short I spent the first five minutes trying to figure what is happening. Then the Bully with her work coluge go on a rampage beating up everyone.I did enjoy small parts of this short including the ending with the rampage and some of it made me laugh... The camera work as average only down to poor lighting, as some of the shots were dark.A good idea in whole but with a running time of seven minutes I found it a little too long, and found myself struggling to get to the end.A good temp overall but look forward to see what new imaginative views the director had.   Yah know for a director that seems to have so much experience under his belt, the improv and acting here was contrived and almost downright annoying. An interesting premis (the execution of dialogue thru gurnting and growling) but that's about it. the shot composition was amateurish and there was no depth, good comedy is the clever turn of a phrase of a situational idea with... Comedy is not easy, and this film is not really that funny. It lacks a true story and people wearing helmets and grunting is just not enogh to keep peoples attention, especially at a 7 minute running time with no suspense build up. Also the staple thing was weak, it should have been less muddled (choppy) and blocked out more. Mr. Shane touts himself as a professional but this film lacks professionalism. I would expect more from someone with his credentials, and the shots here were the tricky shots that become cliche in these kind of movies. This film rests on it's laurels and barely gets by as anything but a day with a camera and a lot of fooling around. And by the way, the bully doesn't seem appropriate for the title of this film, because her charcter is too weak to identify with- there's just not enough bullying. Good luck next time keep. read

  It was a good one...I enjoyed it and laughed for some of the scenes. One person doing everything is very tough and i appreciate Philip shane for doing that very well here. Julie did a good job and the scene at copier machine was cool. The whole gruntin scene was funny and i hope everybody in your cast would have enjoyed doing this. Lighting could have been better in some scene... It was a good one...I enjoyed it and laughed for some of the scenes. One person doing everything is very tough and i appreciate Philip shane for doing that very well here. Julie did a good job and the scene at copier machine was cool.
