  What made you write about this subject I wonder? I liked that it was done on a tight budget and that you used what resources you had. I Thought that there was some funny parts in the movie especially the part when he falls in the muddy field I thought the editing was well done. I liked the running scenes. Pretty good physicla actor. Unfortunately I was left think ing to... What made you write about this subject I wonder?   Nice job, I have a ton of respect for the process you went through making this film. It took me a while to get into the story, but I eventually did. I thought the acting and editing was really well done. The subway stuff at the beginning weighed me down a little bit. I think that is what took me a while to get into it. I can't believe you edited on a Steenbeck, thats impressive... Nice job, I have a ton of respect for the process you went through making this film.   Don't get me wrong... I really and truly appreciate all the time and effort you put into this... it's just that, what I saw didn't seem (to me - IMHO) like the effort showed. For starters, there appeared to be an upload issue - there were horizontal streaks throughout the entire thing. I have a Mac and Quicktime works 100% of the time. Real doesn't work correctly - most... Don't get me wrong... I really and truly appreciate all the time and effort you put into this... it's just that, what I saw didn't seem (to me - IMHO) like the effort showed. For starters, there appeared to be an upload issue - there were horizontal streaks throughout the entire thing. I have a Mac and Quicktime works 100% of the time. Real doesn't work correctly - most of the time. Well, naturally, I watched it in Quicktime and the horizontal streaks were still an issue. Also, I felt the beginning and closing credits looked somewhat amaturish. Please don't get me wrong, and don't feel insulted. This is one of those times that a movie doesn't click for me. I'm quite sure when I read the other reviews, I will see that I'm a loner in my review. But then again, there are times that, in my review, I have absolutely raved about a movie, only to find out, after reading other reviews, just how much other viewers hated the movie, and thought it sucked big time! So... please understand that this is my humble opinion.
  
  Camerawork - not too bad. I liked the shots showing the height perspective and the angst our character may have felt. Both in the looking up towards the birds, and the camera shooting from above him, to show him looking up at the pigeons. Light and colorbalancing did not seem to be an issue. The edits made me dizzy... which is what I believe you wanted to make the viewer feel - that didn't work for me and annoyed me if anything. I did enjoy your running scene. I thought that was excellently done.
  
  Audio/Music - sorry to say... the music drove me crazy! Again, if those were your intentions... it didn't work for me!
  
  Acting - okayish. Our character did not seem as natural in the category of showing fear or angst. It seemed, more or less, that he was focused on running.
  
  Well... I see that you have a passion for putting your heart and soul into your films. With that said, I am really looking forward to seeing your next film. Best of luck. read

  Man does he have a problem with birds. I dont know if it was the intent but there seems to be alot of motion lines during the play of the film. The motion of the film was very good, during the side walk seen it almost looked like the people in the background were going faster. For no lighting I must say it was top notch, and the acting was not to bad. Lastly the music really... Man does he have a problem with birds.   different type of movie ive seen in such a while. I think i got the concept he ran hijmself to death for a fear of something. good camera shots and i totally beleive inthe gurilla style of filmmaking. the subway was the only dark shots in the film. music made the film a little bit more creepy

  Very interesting peice of work, usually I would have said that the camera wasn't great - because of the shakeyness - yet in this particular short I think it just adds to the story. The camera reflects the characters fear very well which makes the entire thing very interesting to watch. The music was very well done and suited the film very well. One thing I was a little confused...   The opening scequence immeadiatly broke the style and drama to the fold. The use of the inanimate landscape lent itself to the contrast in the freedom of flight. The editing complemented the fear factor but the use of the crenscendo failed to orgasim with the visuals. The camera angles enhanced the unease and the suspence but the character's motivation to flee would have been... The opening scequence immeadiatly broke the style and drama to the fold.   I like the use of the fast cuts at times throughout the moive. The shaky camera gives it a nce effect. There are very noticable interlaced fields that show up in the quicktime. I am not sure if that was intentional... There are some cool shots of him runing that I like and although the story was a little slow the style was interesting. Good work.

  I have to admit, this movie was done in some locations fit for other types of movies, but not this one. It was confusing how it began in the trainstation. That wasn't really needed. The acting was very good, though there were no words, you could tell after the first 3 minutes what was going on. To tell the truth though, I still was a little confused of what the movie was about... I have to admit, this movie was done in some locations fit for other types of movies, but not this one. To tell the truth though, I still was a little confused of what the movie was about after watching, until I actually read what it was about. I really don't like the stroy line though - but the bird thing was creepy. hahaha, it wasn't bad, but I do suggest next time a better storyline, and better sound quality, and the next could be a killer! The ending where her is running through a field, it should not have stopped on those frames, but I think it consumed time for it to be longer! It was good, keep trying! Well done. read

  There was a lot of energy in this film and the mans fear well captured on 16mm, the image quality was excellent. The opening credits were quite groovy. I didn't get the point of showing the approaching train in the way you did - it was a nice image and the sound design up to this point was good. I would have liked to have heard more real sound during the street scenes. Since everything seems to be moving faster than he is it may have been an idea to have a sound that gave this feeling? The images were very strong, I didn't mind the jittering handheld movements at times - it suited the main actor who did a great job. Some excellent editing - during the running sequence particularly, I think though the film is a bit too long and could do with some trimming. Did he die in the end? I wasn't clear what exactly what happened - a heart attack? read
