  I was confused about why the Kurdish guy wanted to many pizzas. This story point was really confusing to me. And if the boss had to give up one free pizza, why was he sending the kid back out there all the time to lose more money? Anyway, I guess a lot of people find this movie really funny or something, but for me, it could have used a few more passes in the script stage...   Anyway, I guess a lot of people find this movie really funny or something, but for me, it could have used a few more passes in the script stage. Like why was the eyeball popping out of the vetern pizza kids heads?
  
  The film had a really nice and colorful look which kept me watching. I also loved the clean animation style. The magnet truck was also a nice touch. read

  This was a cute little flick. But I do believe it went on just a bit too far. I would've probably ended it after the helicopter delivery attempt. Animation/editing: Wonderful job. Your animation reminds me of another animator on TS - Tom Priestly, who is from Tazmania, I believe. I like this style of animation. Edits were good and looked very professional. Audio/Music:... This was a cute little flick. But I do believe it went on just a bit too far. I would've probably ended it after the helicopter delivery attempt.

  Audio/Music: The audio went along very well with the characters. Sound effect were good. Nice music as well.
  
  All in all, I really like this, but I did feel it was just a bit too drawn out. Nevertheless, it is worthy of being recognized in this festival. Best of luck. read

  ...probably just the former, but what can't be forgiven about this short is that it is probably the least funny short I've ever seen on TS. The humour was so childlike, and not in a good way. At least with animations like Southpark there is normally a message and some depth to the story. I must admit, I am very surprised someone hasn't reported this to the Hall of Justice,... ...probably just the former, but what can't be forgiven about this short is that it is probably the least funny short I've ever seen on TS.

  I must admit, I am very surprised someone hasn't reported this to the Hall of Justice, and even more surprised that it has gone up for nomination! read

  Or, George Bush's next job? Humor intact, you have done wonders for exploring obsession for a goal. Not so sure about your hero's desire for physical correction though. It gets pretty dark there. The story also goes and goes. You expertly draw it, engage it and all is right with the world. Well, until it ain't around any longer, right? The ethnic taunts and the use... The ethnic taunts and the use of cliche depicting your customer is probably safe in our current political climate; but I think they are cheaper shots below your obvious skill and ability. You are very talented. Would like to see more that doesn't end up in smithereens. read

  A great effort between this team utilizing online production. Cute story with great voice-over performances. It seemed the remainder of the crew already knew this customer. However, this new guy wasn’t going to give up. Realistically the owner would have just been arrested for his attempts, and if the pizza got on property – it was delivered. However, for this tale, the humor... A great effort between this team utilizing online production. Cute story with great voice-over performances. It seemed the remainder of the crew already knew this customer. However, this new guy wasn’t going to give up. Realistically the owner would have just been arrested for his attempts, and if the pizza got on property – it was delivered. However, for this tale, the humor lies in the ridiculous, if not political statements. Perhaps a lot of us already know this customer. I really just could not understand why he was being punished each time he came back! Send the owner next time – see how he manages the situation!
  Highly creative and talented fun. Love the final scene Dr. Strangelove homage. read

  That was a cool little animated short. I did enjoy it very much and I like the characters you used! One thing I didn't like though....it reminded me of the old "looney tunes"! Everyday I would watch just hoping to see the "roadrunner" get caught, although it never did happen! I wanted to see the pizza man finally get over the customer! oh well, it was very good and would... That was a cool little animated short. I did enjoy it very much and I like the characters you used!   really funny short film. The animation is somewhat newstyle and the subject you took over is cool. But who was the arab? He looked like the boss of the bandits in Ali Baba. The pizza franchise was really well displayed. The characters were done to look real and believeble. A cool piece and funny.

  First animation I have seen in the festival. I'm a lover of animation, and set high standards. My first impression was: I don't like the look. But this is a grower. The humour won me over. The funiest bit for me was the continued upping of the stakes, but I also laughed at the spanking scenes. Interesting choice of antagonist, (is it OBL or just a looky likey?) either way,... First animation I have seen in the festival. I'm a lover of animation, and set high standards. My first impression was: I don't like the look. But this is a grower. The humour won me over.
  
  The funiest bit for me was the continued upping of the stakes, but I also laughed at the spanking scenes.
  
  Interesting choice of antagonist, (is it OBL or just a looky likey?) either way, no body or group/race/religion is exempt from a bit of humour - well done.

  I first saw Hold The Anchovies in a Wellington Film Festival a few years back when Barry presented it in person. not sure if it was the world premiere or not. It was great seeing it with an appreciative audience then who laughed throughout it. it's clever and funny. I actually think it works better on the internet. Animation like this often works better on the small screen...   Great animation, great sound, very good acting. It's amazing what people can do separated by thousands of miles, and you should all be congratulated. I really wanted to like this. But the script doesn't make any sense. Why would the pizzas be free? He delivered them in under 30 minutes. And when he starts delivering via chopper, bomber, missile, etc., that doesn't solve his... Great animation, great sound, very good acting. It's amazing what people can do separated by thousands of miles, and you should all be congratulated. I really wanted to like this. But the script doesn't make any sense. Why would the pizzas be free? He delivered them in under 30 minutes. And when he starts delivering via chopper, bomber, missile, etc., that doesn't solve his basic problem-- that he's not getting paid for the pizza. You don't build comedy on comedy. You need some kind of foundation of at least a perception of reality. read
