  Overall this film was ok. Introduction and conclusion was shown quite well. I like how you guys used sound effects for introduction. I cannot relate to the title and the video, I do not feel that it should be the title for this film. I like how you guys seem to show some effects that you were talking about it.   I like how you guys seem to show some effects that you were talking about it. It might be better if you guys continued to talk throughout the movie. Explaining what was happening and how it relates to the main topic of this film.
  Some of the scenes were too blurry to be seen. But some scenes were nice. For example the part when the scene was zoomed in the ice at the same time there were movements of an object that was involved with the ice.
  
  It does not really match the genre comedy. Though there are some parts that are funny, but only lasted just a couple of seconds. It might have been better if you guys put more funny clips and put some more vibe into the film. Some of the background songs are nice, but it does not make the film flow better in certain parts.
  
  Overall, the film was ok, but it was lacking more information that could actually relate to the title. The structure of the film is not stable enough. Introduction and ending parts was showed quite well. read

  Making a movie about making movies is a tricky thing, it's either great or terribly self indulgent. I'm not really sure what this film is about....perhaps it's just too experimental for me, too esoteric. Perhaps this movie just isn't for me, but I really didn't like it. It seems to be trying really hard to be something and I just don't know what that something was. The...   This is certainly a film that is made in appreciation of the audience that is likely to watch it- filmmakers. No, I don't think the film would be very entertaining to a general audience but it's not made for a general audience. I would prefer that the film had more of a story in the sense that the revelations learned by the filmmakers were learned by an event depicted in...   I would prefer that the film had more of a story in the sense that the revelations learned by the filmmakers were learned by an event depicted in the story where the filmmakers experienced something eye-opening rather than just having the lesson repeated and explained through the footage. A story by definition shows a change in a character and focuses on that change rather than simply the lesson learned. Audiences tend to like stories. This film does not feature a story. It could have. Still, not really a big deal when you consider the target audience and the goal of the film.
  
  I didn't see any real flaws in production. During the segement with the "baby" I felt the camera angles bounced a little too much for my liking, but I didn't see any real flaws. The performances by the filmmakers were kind of bad, but I've seen much worse. The filmmakers should have taken some time to relax themselves before they started shooting their takes. Being relaxed is the most important part of acting. They were trying too hard.
  
  Still, as a filmmaker- meaning as part of your target audience- I think the film achieves the goal it was designed to achieve; inspire and teach an incredibly valuable lesson about the creative process. read

  I'm not too sure if it's just the day that I've been through watching nothing but film and I'm all filmmed out or what. I found myself somewhere in a daze a quarter the way through it. I wasn't too sure what was going on. When the music came on, the buzzing was too much. Slight audio problem. I think I missed the point. I did like the step back with all the cameras. Kinda different... I'm not too sure if it's just the day that I've been through watching nothing but film and I'm all filmmed out or what.   Sadly when I tried to review this film, it wouldnt play. I have just sat and reviewed many other films in a row and they worked all fine. So I'm guessing there is a problem with this film? As far as the title goes, if you are trying to be philosophical, its a bit on the nose isnt it?

  I apologize sincerely. I was not able to view or hear this film at all. I waited upwards of 5 minutes but simply got a question mark in the middle of the screen. I did try several times. Ordinarily I would have removed this from my assignments list, but I had already removed a problem film today and it wouldn't let me. If there is somewhere else I could try viewing this film,...   Ordinarily I would have removed this from my assignments list, but I had already removed a problem film today and it wouldn't let me. If there is somewhere else I could try viewing this film, please do let me know. I was very interested in seeing it.

  Loved the way you started out. I wish it had continued on that vein. You lost me once you split the screen and traveled off to make ice sculpture. Maybe it is that I am not familiar enough with the artists you are trying to emulate or pay homage to, but the laid back approach of the two of you talking your way through the process would have been enough for me, assuming there...   1. "Meta" art always walks that fine line between being clever and pretentious. For the most part, I think you come down on the right side of that line. Kudos. 2. Where the film works, like in the ending sequence, I found it to be an interesting and engaging affair. 3. Unfortunately, some of it is just too on the nose for my liking.   3. Unfortunately, some of it is just too on the nose for my liking. I realize that this is a cliche, but "show don't tell" seems particularly applicable to portions of the short. The ending sequence of the film works for me because it leaves room for the viewer to draw her own conclusions. To get the joke on her own. As opposed to the scenes where you have two people basically telling you, "Isn't what we're pointing out to you clever?"
  
  4. Based upon the influences that you mention in the production notes, I see where you were heading. But most of those filmmakers manage to explore these themes within the context of a more overarching dramatic structure (no matter how loose it may be). Given it's short length, perhaps the episodic feel is okay, but for me, I think a larger, unifying context - especially one that might pull the episodes together - would have been more satisfying.

  I found the opening to this film rather interesting, if not intriguing in it's format. However I felt it became a little too slow for my liking towards the middle and did not speed up until pretty much the end. I am not as accustomed to post modernist films as I should be really - and I could relate to the whole filmmaking process idea/narrative, but the film just struck me...   I'd give it 3 out of 5 stars - it was interesting at first - but then I had to try rather hard to keep attention on what was going on.

  Technically this film appears ok to me. Lighting, continuity, etc., but I can't help but to say it was a bit on the ho hum side of things. Perhaps it was experimental to see how different concepts came through, not sure. I appreciate we're all budding filmmakers so I can't and won't sit here and tear it to shreds, don't think it warrants that. I appreciated what it tried... Technically this film appears ok to me. Lighting, continuity, etc., but I can't help but to say it was a bit on the ho hum side of things.
