  I first must say that i usually don't watch short movies. At least not those that are made by amateurs or simply people that are not in the movie bussines. The reason would be because i have never, so far, encountered a short that is directed good, acted good or edited good! To tell you the truth, the reason i watched your's is because i was dead boring and had nothing else... I first must say that i usually don't watch short movies. At least not those that are made by amateurs or simply people that are not in the movie bussines.   To tell you the truth, the reason i watched your's is because i was dead boring and had nothing else to do. So i thought, why not visit the TriggerStreet and watch a short that was among the month finalists. Maybe i'll see something good. who knows?! And i did!!! Your movie is great! I am really surprised! Your angles are good, actors are good and editing is brilliant and on a proffesional level. I really liked the colors!

  This was really cool. Loved all the interesting camera angles and the colors were just great. It's also nice to watch something where such time and effort was placed in crafting the dialogue. Great looking location as well. Where do you find something like that? My hat is off to you. Keep making them and I'll keep watching.

  Its different which makes it good. I like the colour and the edit, you graded it well. I think the concept lets is down a bit, its all a bit nonsensical, irrelevant and such, but then its surreal. For a one day shoot this is good - although I'd steer clear of too many extreme angles - faces into camera with action in the background - looks a bit amateur. Vote for my film.

  This was an awesome display of minimalism used effectively by crafting witty dilaogue that moved. The punchline definitely sealed the deal. The visual and audio quality was pretty top notch and I liked that you effectively gave us a window into a world in little time (the essence of a short film, eh?) Rock on man. Keep on creating.

  A brilliant piece of work. It defies words or description. From the surreal to the so real ... acting was great, writing fantastic, and direction spot on. I can't wait to show it to my wife, who will absolutely hate it. If I ever get my screenplay sold, I want you to direct it. I'm gonna go watch it again, really. Carpe Diem, SAS

  Not sure why, but the rhyming style of this film just works for me. Perhaps it's bouncy and keeps me guessing what the next character will say. The camera angles work are great as well, and the off-center shots of the characters look the best. Editing never gets slow or tiring but rather retains the pace of the quick dialgue (which is tough to do!). Acting was second to none... Not sure why, but the rhyming style of this film just works for me. Perhaps it's bouncy and keeps me guessing what the next character will say.
  
  The camera angles work are great as well, and the off-center shots of the characters look the best. Editing never gets slow or tiring but rather retains the pace of the quick dialgue (which is tough to do!).
  
  Acting was second to none when comparing to other shorts I've seen. Characters were exactly that, and they delivered their lines perfectly.
  
  It may be pure entertainment, but "It's Hot" is about as good as filmmaking gets for a clever short. read

  I like the premise of the short.The scam within a scam. While one man tries to cheat another, it's the cheater who gets scammed and walks off with fake. At first I was thrown by a man having a garage sale in the middle of no where. And the idea of a man in a suit walking down a barren rode through me for a bit. It was like something out of the theatre of the absurd. But evenually... I like the premise of the short.The scam within a scam.   You can tell you've had industry experience. The production was slick. Camera, sound and acting all good. The story was somewhat predictable. It was fairly obvious what was going to happen. However the rhyming slang was excellent and very funny. It saved the film. It is ironic to me that a film with such a great visual look wasso dialogue driven. Make a fim with a plot as clever... You can tell you've had industry experience.

  Well I can't say enough, this is probably a perfect short film. Everything works. The pacing is great and makes the comedy work, the shots are well framed and makes the editing seamless and entertaining. Never a boring moment. The acting is also just perfect, the production team did everything right in making this project. This is my favorite short on the Street. Great... Well I can't say enough, this is probably a perfect short film. Everything works.   This short moves along and keeps a nice pace of story set-up and delivery. The rhyming dialogue doesn't work for me, but perhaps it just rings funny to my ears. I see stanzas instead of actual interaction between characters. However, it is clever and does add a twist to the telling. I am just not sure it helps the suspense or the plot much.   The casual cool attitude, and non-chalance, portrayed by our characters was entertaining. The music added greatly to this mood, too.
  
  The edit to the other scene where the other men were seemed to me to be a bit rough. A little like Maxwell Smart or any sixties television show. Yet, the style seemed all in all to favor a specially educated audience with some of the humor references for only those who get the references. Didn't slow it down for me, though. Actors did a fine job. read
