  Where to begin with this short... Firstly I liked the idea of it rather than the actual execution. What I got from the short is that the way people react to horror films is daft as like the title says it is just a movie and not real life. Whilst the idea is a clever one I felt like all I was watching was an axe smash up technology and never really go anywhere else with it,... Where to begin with this short...   Although I don’t agree with your views and obsessions with violence in movies, you did a great job executing your idea, no pun intended. Very reminiscent of Videodrome. The stop motion was great and the murder of these electronics was humorous and entertaining. The narration was spot on as well and projected a sort of Orwellian feel that I found perfect for the subject matter...   This was a fun little film and makes me interested in the film that inspired it. I found that the compression made it very difficult to watch but I enjoyed the sentiment and I thought that blood destruction of electronics was a fun effect. I hope that you are making more films.

  I thoroughly enjoyed this short. The subject matter was interesting and nice to see the old, now retro machinery resurrected, albeit to be hacked! Very skilled stop motion and sound. I don't really have any negative points. The film actually made me laugh, which a lot of shorts fail at. Excellent. I will look forward to viewing the rest of your shorts.

  This short was extremely entertaining and well put together. It was straight-to-the-point and well executed. The images will draw you in due to the clever editing and use of stop-motion. Even the acting was good. An all around well made short. I would definitely watch another film from this film-maker.

  This really isn't my type of film, but it was intriguing. Good use of the short film format. Loved the special effects. I wasn't a big fan of the 90's visual effects though. Out of context, I was able to make sense of the piece. I probably wouldn't watch this again, but I enjoyed the first time.

  I really love the look of this interesting documentary. I am a big fan of the classic video nasties and found myself gripped with this documentary. Great VHS look to the whole thing. It is very well done and is all in all very interesting. Keep up the good work!

  This short film is my first to review, and i'm already pleased with the content on this site. The topic is interesting and the actual film is breathtaking. The old VHS look and feel gives the film a cult feel, and defenitely represents the increasing censorship in media. The gore and blood is beautiful in conveying the message. The film is weird, but it's cool. It's original,... This short film is my first to review, and i'm already pleased with the content on this site. The topic is interesting and the actual film is breathtaking. The old VHS look and feel gives the film a cult feel, and defenitely represents the increasing censorship in media. The gore and blood is beautiful in conveying the message. The film is weird, but it's cool. It's original, and its captivating. The cinematography is well done. I particularly love the 'plugging in' effect of the cords, and the humanistic style of the electronics. This film has no real flaws; It's amateur, but that only adds to the film's 'cool cultness', if that makes sense...
  Overall, this short film is original, captivating,weird and just generally cool. I cannot wait to see more from this film-maker.

  Wow, this one was... different! Overall, I liked the idea and metaphors portrayed, the practical FX stood out for me as the highlight of this surreal piece. I tend to prefer more cohesive, narrative content, but that's not to say that this was not a worthy indie effort. It definitely creeped me out!

  Let me start by saying i thoroughly enjoyed this video. All shots kept the feeling of creepy/eeriness going throughout the entire video. The editing was timed greatly and paced the video very well. I enjoy the concept as well. All of the effects of tapes moving and blood and all throughout the film looked good. I enjoyed this very much! Good work!
