  I was very much overwhelmed (in a positive way) after watching this peice. It was very well planned and therefore resulted in well put together and well paced film. The first shot was compelling and intimate, but lacked strong visual aesthetic and dedication that it could have acheived. The cinematography in the rest of the film was clean (giving it a high production value),... I was very much overwhelmed (in a positive way) after watching this peice. The cinematography in the rest of the film was clean (giving it a high production value), well graded and effective for the story. This film also had some pretty original visual storytelling. Overall, the film kept me on the edge of my seat and had a good twist. read

  My opinion: I love this short film. I like this kind of movie. The story is excellent and very exciting. Congratulation!! It´s a very good work with high quality and good pictures. Also the actors played their characters very emotional and very good. And I think, I will watch this short film more times. And it´s deserving a high praise and respect.

  Brilliant. Loved it. Seriously being a big fan of stuff like the outer limits and the Twilight Zone this short really tapped into exactly the sort of stuff im interested in. The running on the Highway scenes looked great. Excellent camerawork and the acting was well above average for a triggerstreet submission. Keep up the good work.

  I can tell that the production value in this film is high, the overall quality of the film is spectacular. I can honestly see this film getting into the festival circuit (and being a force to be feared.) I think that the writing was original and unique, I thought that the acting was pretty good (has room for improvement), and the editing looks like you guys spent a lot of man...   4 out of 5. No wonder this was a finalist (twice?). This has about everything you could want in a short. It was very effectively shot and very well written. The acting was excellent although I didn't feel the protagonist had great screen presence. Pay attention the the way it is shot and edited, a great use of camera and excellent resulting flow of motion, such as the opening... 4 out of 5. No wonder this was a finalist (twice?). Pay attention the the way it is shot and edited, a great use of camera and excellent resulting flow of motion, such as the opening zoom out shot and the one from the ground at the door of the house. Everything I can think of is nitpicking and just a matter of opinion, but its great the way this film draws you into thinking about each scene afterwards. The other thing is how *not* pretty this movie is, kind of stark and drab with the exception may be of the colorized running along the country road (I believe stark and drab can still be pretty in theory, not that I could do better than this film). It is awesome! read

  This movie is super! Great acting! Great directing! Great Camera! Great music! Intriguing script! Tight editing! Good nuance. The signage on the bench was a nice touch. The resolution is really excellent. Simply switching the name to Kaplan really gave me what I needed to know. The wife was especially believable. I'd love to know how you achieved the image in the mirror... This movie is super! Great acting! Great directing! Great Camera! Great music! Intriguing script! Tight editing! Good nuance.   I think I should stop looking at the awards before I see a movie, because so far I have been disappointed in the TriggerStreet selection. Being a film-maker myself, I know that each film is up to personal interpretation and taste, but I would generally think good films would be universal. Ok, the review. This film was ok. Shot on 16mm was nice, but there wasn't anything... I think I should stop looking at the awards before I see a movie, because so far I have been disappointed in the TriggerStreet selection. Being a film-maker myself, I know that each film is up to personal interpretation and taste, but I would generally think good films would be universal. Ok, the review. This film was ok. Shot on 16mm was nice, but there wasn't anything special about this film. The editing is something I have seen recently with the advent of Asian horror pictures making their way to North America. The story was average. There was nothing special about the characters or the locations for this film. I didn't care for Kerst either way and I grew bored of the clunky storyline and the pacing quickly. A ground-hog day film should really twist the viewer's imagination (see the X-files episode where they did it and Billy Murray's Ground-hog day to see how it can be done right). Now, this isn't a complete put-down - I think the film-makers have done a nice job putting together a short and I look forward to seeing more from them when they have a better story, but I don't think this is a winner. With $5000 as a budget, I would have expected a little more if it was a DV project, but as a film project the would make sense. As I said, the film was just ok. read

  Love the artsy shots at the end, Robert running, the grass... Overall great shot selection, framing and setup. Love the editing, acting wasn't bad, music at first was annoying but later became appropriate. Like the many locations. I like a more dashing-charismatic leading man myself but each to thier own. Overall a great short film. Nice twist at the end.

  Overall this was a great film, very engaging. It seemed to have everything a good film should have. Starting with a solid story shot in a very artistic effective manner. The filmmakers put quiet a bit of work into their production and it shows as the film production looks above average. The standouts for me were the editing, which I know starts with the directing and cameraman,... Overall this was a great film, very engaging. It seemed to have everything a good film should have.   The standouts for me were the editing, which I know starts with the directing and cameraman, but the editor gets my nod for putting it all together so well. Personally I like how the film ends abruptly. I also like that you told a complete story in such a short time. Great job, I look forward to more of your work. read
