  I thought I would hate this but I was very suprised. I guess because it was so entertaining. The acting wasn't great, nor the photography but it was funny and the characters were fun. There seem's to be a good team working here. I just thought it could have been edited a bit tighter in places.

  I felt that the characters were well thought out, the camera work was steady and the film made the most of minimal set-ups and locations. I was a little lost as to the outline ,of the piece but it did have an overall energy to it and it's own brand of humour.

  ACTING: dismal. CINEMATOGRAPHY: dismal. LIGHTING: natural light. CONTINUITY: generally good throughout. STORYLINE: good idea, certain audiences will like it, others will turn it off quickly. OVERALL: stronger cinematography, more original concepts, the whole thing was pretty weak. Sincerely, CW Rae

  This film had potential, the camera work is some what good, the shots were clear. But, the story made no sense to me at all, the actors reminded me of the kind of over acting I've seen in a church play. The special effects are as cheesy as the acting. In the hands of someone else who would have applied themselves this could have been a good movie. To me this movie is simply...   Despite the amateur feel to this film, it's not a worthless effort. Some decent work here. I didn't appreciate the juvenile penis humor, however. But the basic premise and execution both have some merit. What I liked: The clown makeup on the guy looked pretty cool, and the self-esteem tiger reference was pretty funny. Your actors showed enthusiasm and some of your effects... Despite the amateur feel to this film, it's not a worthless effort. Some decent work here. I didn't appreciate the juvenile penis humor, however. But the basic premise and execution both have some merit.
  
  What I liked: The clown makeup on the guy looked pretty cool, and the self-esteem tiger reference was pretty funny. Your actors showed enthusiasm and some of your effects worked well. You also had some clever lines (the talibat stands out).
  
  What I didn't like: The VO echo at the beginning was distracting. In fact, your sound design (and lighting) overall were weak. The whole look and feel of the piece just screamed amateur, but perhaps that was your point. The pacing was choppy, and the editing toward the end was a mess. Of course, lose the profanity as well.
  
  So, overall, this wasn't a bad diversion, but it does suffer from its weaknesses. read

  I really enjoyed this. A very good script rendered by talent that knows what's funny. I thought the clown leader was the most entertaining of the group. The direction is very good and it's apparent people added their own ideas to hype up the material even further. I assume there was a Klown 1 before this and this is a continuation. The video footage is poor as it frequently... I really enjoyed this. A very good script rendered by talent that knows what's funny. I thought the clown leader was the most entertaining of the group. The video footage is poor as it frequently seems dark or over-exposed. However the material is top rate comedy and the actors did a great job delivering it. Looking forward to a Klown 3! read

  I enjoyed watching this because it looked like they had fun making it, but there wasn't much there to really get into. The production quality was good but too often they would go over the top. Overall, I thought it was edited and finished well and had good pacing. The impression I got was that they did not take their short film project very seriously. I think if they took...   Guys: no more sequels of "Klowns". Do something new and next time do it with a bit more respect for your audience. read

  Just kidding of course. I was pretty much able to follow it :) One thing you can certainly say for this group. They are prolific! Seems like every other film I get assigned is from this filmmaker, and so far, with me at least, they have been hit and miss. This one mostly hits. It was a lot of fun, and had some good laughs in it. As usual, there are weaknesses in the shooting... Just kidding of course. I was pretty much able to follow it :)

As usual, there are weaknesses in the shooting that could be improved, but it seems the style of this group is to get the idea and capture it all before it somehow escapes. From other reviews of their work, it seems they have a devoted following, but I always come away with the feeling that these folks could do a lot better work if they wanted to. The grand finale of the exploding clowns was fun! Good work. read

  I gotta say, all the stuff involving the actual clowns was laugh out loud funny. The stuff in between was only kind of funny. The atmosphere of the short reminded me a lot of the Stella shorts where it was just random absurdity. And thats what i think made this one so funny: the absurdity of it. Those damn clowns did have me laughing. I'll have to recommend this one to my friends... I gotta say, all the stuff involving the actual clowns was laugh out loud funny.   This film is the type of film that is fun for everone and made between a couple of people therefor, its funy to a couple people. It's great that you found a subject to expand on and make a trilogy! Good job creating all of the jokes and pulling them off. I thought a lot was over the top and it was exactly how it should have been because not every film is made to be taken...
