  The concept is funny and interesting but the execution is amateurish, with time and some budget there could actually pull off something very funny! I'll recommend to recast the librarians with old and severe woman that actually look like librarians. Technically, I'll recommend that there use a more professional MiniDV camera, something that gives an cinematic or broadcast TV...   The lighting is good. The audio is fine. The camerawork is pretty good and the edits are nice. The script is pretty funny. The performances are fine. The premise is hilarious. The execution is a bit lackluster. The compression kind of ruined the viewing. A nice effort. Continued Success!

  Yup. Silly. That's pretty much all I've got to say. You don't need high production values when you're shooting something that's suposed to look like it was shot by an amature. The shot of the baby laughing at the end was cute. The acting was... terrible. But in this genre, it sort of almost works for the film. Next time I want to see a greater undertaking from this team...   i thought that this film was very very funny! i love the parody part of it.. i love the mocumentary like stuff and this is maybe the best one i have seen yet on trigger street. keep up the good work! you made me laugh and that is hard to do! i reccomend! and that is even harder!

  I liked how much of this was done very "straight." For something like this, the more serious, the better. My personal favorite part was the speech outlining the plan. The whole thing was really funny. What you have going against you is that COPS is constantly getting riffed on. I think the last film I reviewed was a riff on COPS. That is what will be the biggest challenge... I liked how much of this was done very "straight." For something like this, the more serious, the better.   Librarians is ok but this is an initial idea that can be developed more, into something really great. There is alot of potential, I think, with the cast, and to go back to do some better paced stuff would be the way to go, just my opinion. I think that the COPS shows you are emulating are faster paced editing, non stop movement and quick one liners would be better. Also,... Also, play with the idea of what people's conceptions are of Librarians, are, maybe have a cast member that is an old lady librarian along with the guys-- maybe as the "wise one" or the boss-- Or a sexy librarian babe. Although I can't recommend, it's a good first attempt, look forward to seeing more as you grow in the fine art of comedy. All the best. read

  This film was not as good as it should have been. The entire concept had been done before a number of times, but it was a great effort. I have to say that there were some funny parts (and I mean FUNNY) but most of the time I had heard it before and it was not exactly original. The filming was great, and it was not a failure in the view that it was a parody of COPS.

  I'm of the opinion that a Cops parody is made or broken on its theme song spoof -- nice music match here, but no lyrics. "Reservoir Dogs" reference just too glaring. Liked the interviews with the librarians on the way to the bust. Great last line too. Reference books, heh.

  This has to be one of the most demented things I've ever seen and I LOVED IT. At first I thought it a bit trite, but next thing I know I'm laughing out loud. Production quality was fine and showed the director knows how to put a scene together. Nothing fancy, but the job was done. The kids were well coached and the fact that they were in way over their heads seemed both... This has to be one of the most demented things I've ever seen and I LOVED IT. The kids were well coached and the fact that they were in way over their heads seemed both sad and hysterical at the same time (from a hard-nosed review point of view). I wouldn't vote it best in any competition, but it was certainly enjoyable filler. I appreciate the brevity of it. read

  LIBRARIANS is a parody on the infamous COPS reality TV show. This was a fun idea that was well executed. I enjoyed the line "please put the chair back under the table"; that is funny! The sound was a bit distorted due to some wind interference. You can solve this problem by putting a wind screen on the microphone.
