  I loved this. It was very personable and entertaining. The narration voice was superb (I'm a sucker for Brooklyn accents!) and I thoroughly enjoyed the realness of it. I'm wondering if those were real photos or if you got them somewhere. It was vintage and just really good! Great job and keep going!

  Wow interesting. Were those your own family videos? If not I applaud you for being able to procure such cool old video of Italian Americans. Very creative and innovative story line. Your ability mold such a unique story line to that particular set of video clips was very engineering. I can say is keep at the craft. And PS who ever was the voice had a way about him and made...   But I just didn't laugh. I don't know why. Because these were obviously old home movies spliced together to make a story, the cinematography was... well, it looked like home movies. The narration was rushed to fit the limited film reel, and the music was pretty decent. In all, I liked tha idea you had, but I think it would be best screened for the family, not critical snobbish... But I just didn't laugh. I don't know why.   Story: 8/10Acting 7/10Filming 9/10Overall 8.5/10I thought this story was made into a good film. It had good clean dialog. The video fit the picture. Everything that was said was clear. There wasn't much acting except the narrating and the narrator did a good job if there would of been more "acting it would of been better. But the movie kept me entertained and thtas is...   Super 8 has a soft spot for me - the dreamy grainy footage is something I never get enough of.The story was ok but not for me - I like the take on goodfellas in kindergarden but the sound & picture quality were low in quality so it was hard to keep up.I noticed it was uploaded 2 years ago & I have been assigned this now ? so Id think that Kevin Tavolaro has progressed with...   Tell me if I'm right, this was your own home movies edited into this funny story. If so, that is a great idea. Everyone should do that with their family films. I was laughing a lot watching this. Good choice of music, but it was overpowering your voice overs so I was struggling to hear what you would say. You should really fix that because I'm sure I probably missed some... The picture and sound editing was rough at times. I really liked the voice over though. Had the lingo and accent down - which I'm sure was natural. Overall, it was fun to watch. read

  While a bit rough around the edges, this film works pretty well. It is a great vehicle for recycling those old family films and making them into something that people want to watch. The quality of the version that is up here is not so good, and I couldn't get to the other site to see it better. The voice over was well done and sounded suitably gangster-ish. Overall a good...   This is a sweet, endearing film, albeit a little rough around the edges. I thought you did a good job assembling old footage and making a story of it - the VO is what makes it work. The inflection of the mobster accent goes a long way to sell the concept. The web compression is rough - a tough thing to figure out, I know. Some classic scenes, though - I especially loved the... Some classic scenes, though - I especially loved the scene where he ended up i the "big house" - that got an out loud laugh from me. It's good that he learned that the life of crime is a dead end street at such a young age - a little lesson hidden in the fun. I got a kick out of this. read

  And people wonder what to do with old family movies that collect dust in the attic. Funny, quite funny. I liked the part with the men standing in line, and the last name "looking over your shoulder." I don't put this in the categorie of dramatic short film up for contest allegibility, but it is a nice break from a lot of crap movies you come across. This is a total sit...   I thought this was hilarious...I just wish I could have seen the images clearer...I know, these compression rules, etc., make uploading a mountain climb...I still have NOT made it up to Everest yet...you did, and you did a fine job. Hopefully this isn't the last we've heard from the young mafioso.
