  I thought this was a great 48 hour film. It contained an interesting interpretation on the title Loco Tender. I was blown away with the look and overall quality that the film had in just 48 hours. It was quite funny and had two characters that I could relate with totally. Very nice job and I can't wait to watch some more stuff from you guys when you have more time to plan!...   I must say a very nice short in that it was quite stylish and very nicely framed and focused. The long shot as the perp entered the convenience was a bit off I thought; in that the attendant seemed to fisheye a bit. At first I thought it was the same person until I saw the credits. A fun piece. Good stuff chums.

  I must confes that the start anoyed me a little as Loco should not me a word in the American dictionary! It means crazy in Spanish, the Americans jsut adopted it because of all the mexicans calling them cazy. Anyway, after I got over that I thought the film is quite funny. it's amazing how people behave even in the slightest possition of power. I thought it was brillatly executed,...   This was a cute little piece. The titles and credits were really good (almost too good compared to what was in between) but hey, that's technology I guess. The shots were good, I liked the shot of him in thestore window through the car window. The cuts were clean also. Again it was silly but harmless. Good job.

  I've seen a number of these 48-hour films and I think most of them were really pretty good. The opening was great and the music carried through quite micely--err, nicely. The camera was excellent the editing quite robust, the plot, not bad for 48 hours. The actors were appealing, in fact the whole dang thing was, too. Good luck.

  Substance: A fresh look at the boredom of having a tireless job being a petrol jockey. Everyone in their teens had the same or simliar work experience of being completely bored out of your mind and the moronic customers who can't read simple signs doesn't help either. Style: The peice seemed very well produced, starting with the professional opening credits, the score and... Substance:

  You blokes did a great job with the brief for that contest. It was a superb effort and probably one of the best I have seen on here. The filming was excellent and the editing matched. The music was, I thought absolutely perfect and emphasized the zaniness of the shtick. Your acting was a joy to watch and I sure hope that you chaps put another one up here. Interestng to know... Interestng to know what mini dv cam you used. I thought that tghe image was super. Now if you had only shot it in Birmingham I might have given you a 100% mark. Well done. A definite candidate for the festival as far as I am concerned. read

  Having produced a film in the 48 hr film challenge myself, I know first hand the tremendous effort involved. This short came off quite well. The music selections added nicely to the overall feel. All technical aspects came off without a hitch. The only thing that I found lacking, was the story -- which came off more incidental than derived. Nice work.

  Loco Tender is beautifully shot -- I was highly impressed with the quality of the video and glad to see someone working in 16x9. Also enjoyed the overly bombastic music (how the hell did you afford the rights?). The actors also performed well in their mostly silent roles.Story -- I could have asked for a little more. Not bad considering the time limit, but I can't say I was... Loco Tender is beautifully shot -- I was highly impressed with the quality of the video and glad to see someone working in 16x9.   Wow, pretty good for 48 hours I must say. I enjoyed the overall idea, although I feel that it could have been more thoughtfully written. I mean it just didn't have enough story too it, but I understand it was just a short and made in 48 hours so considering that I would say good job. Overall, a very good job. read
