  It says action, comedy, horror, but i didn't see the comedy in it? Maybe it was that the couple really thought that pitching an idea like that to television producers would be a good idea? Some of the dialogue at the park wasn't in sync with the movements of their lips. I read your bio before i watched your video. As i try to do so that i can get a feel for the artists vision... This particular video did not really get my interest but by the sounds of it maybe there are other videos of your i might enjoy. read

  Good job on the short film. I think it had a lot of twists. I hope you keep up your movies. I think you should keep your audience on the edge of their seats. I think you should consider using a DSLR camera. I plan on using a DSLR for my projects.

  The storyline and overall idea was interesting but it was not quite clear enough because it took me a while to fully understand why the antagonists of the story did what they did. Even up to now I am still quite confused and not fully sure what the couple’s objective or point was, although, the twists did catch me off-guard. There were multiple twists and that is what kept... Even up to now I am still quite confused and not fully sure what the couple’s objective or point was, although, the twists did catch me off-guard. There were multiple twists and that is what kept me interested in this short story for the most part, although, there were parts that dragged and were too long like when the car was backing up or at the beginning when the male character was running. The beginning was not the best way to start a short story. It was just, like I already said, too long and quite boring. On a good note, there was a large variety of different angles and I really liked how this film used different points of views and interchanged from the actual camera to the camera being used in the film that the couple was using for “their show”. The film was not so realistic and I guess I just don’t buy the dialogue or the dialogue kind of ruins it. Also, the actors felt forced and it takes away from the entire film. Another part and I’m sure it wasn’t your fault but there were random parts of the film that were muted. That may have been technical issues that you couldn’t have prevented but it was very hard to enjoy the film with it. One thing that could have been worked on was the cutting because there were a lot of times where the character was talking and they were cut off half way through their last word. That makes the transition look very bad and out of place. read

  First off, well done. This film had a nice sense of humour, considering the situation, and it kept me watching. But this is the second time I've seen people out in the woods doing something innocent and it turning into a horrible situation. Maybe I'm cynical but when I saw the woman come to the defense of the woman reading the book, my mind was screaming set up. Don't trust... First off, well done. This film had a nice sense of humour, considering the situation, and it kept me watching. But this is the second time I've seen people out in the woods doing something innocent and it turning into a horrible situation. Maybe I'm cynical but when I saw the woman come to the defense of the woman reading the book, my mind was screaming set up. Don't trust her. Their a team. Once again I told myself to shut up and watch the movie and sure enough, they were a team and our herione was in the deep brown. The suspense was well sustained, and I loved it when they said it was a reality show they were doing. With the state of reality shows, the concept of this one wasn't that far fetched. But as the writer would have it, our heroine puts her foot in her mouth by threatening them with the police. And once again our herione steps in it again.

  Simply stated, this short film made me uncomfortable. First, the production was a bit odd with the filming shots interspersed with the principle action. Second, but for the victim the acting was stilted, and even the victim trended in that direction towards the end. Finally, captive victims are pretty stock in this genre, notwithstanding the "reality TV" sub-plot. While... Simply stated, this short film made me uncomfortable. Finally, captive victims are pretty stock in this genre, notwithstanding the "reality TV" sub-plot. While I am sure this was fun to make, there wasn't much depth to it, and again, the overall idea of taking, holding, and torturing an innocent victim just makes me uncomfortable.

  okay, it seems like the intention is to make a creepy horror film like saw with twists and turns. i think what works is the twist at the beginning. while it doesn't have a super punch, it's still pulls the viewer in when she is kidnapped by the couple. I have to say the blonde kidnapper female's performance is a stand out and her acting seemed very believable. then, when... okay, it seems like the intention is to make a creepy horror film like saw with twists and turns. i think what works is the twist at the beginning. while it doesn't have a super punch, it's still pulls the viewer in when she is kidnapped by the couple. I have to say the blonde kidnapper female's performance is a stand out and her acting seemed very believable. then, when we get into the lair, the creepy masks and basement quality of the set was good.
  
  as far as improvement, i have to say I am confused. what are these killers doing? are they using this reality thing to make their victims psychologically torutured. I think the story needs to be thought out more clearly. Two major questions: 1. what is the intention? Is it supposed to feel like a satire on reality tv or is it supposed to feel like a realistic horror/pyschological thriller a la Hard Candy? I think until this question is answered, it's really hard to give advice b/c each genre have totally different requirements. but after you answer this question, then you can use other models (Hard Candy is a great model for the realistic psychological horror thriller) for your guidance to success. 2. after deciding what your goal is, then, I think the story needs a thorough rewrite to figure out what is the situation? who are these killers and what is their plan? who is the main character besides being a victim? from whose point of view is the story? the killers or the victims? i think the story can be told in a lot of ways and it just requires the filmmakers to just make some of these choices.
  
  best of luck with your filmmaking. I know making these films is hard as a filmmaker myself. Keep going! read

  I felt the acting was forced and didn't help the story. I didn't particularly like the fact that the characters at the end of the film told their captive she was part of an idea to create a show and then killed her when she wasn't happy about being a part of it. However, I did like some cuts to the handycam because there were moments where the scenario felt real but I just... I felt the acting was forced and didn't help the story.   Good idea, well written, however he acting was weak, some simple executions could have been handled better, but I do respect the effort in making it with very low budget and simple tools, the editing was good overall, the cinematography was good considering the small crew and the camera and equipments, the switch of POV's at the apartment was a very nice touch

  When we talk about credibility of a film, it may not refer to the credibility of the story, it is the credibility of emotion. That is created by how the story is told, including acting. I do not doubt the reality of the storyline as every story can be real, for someone at the least. However, the presentation of it is not so realistic to me. The acting lacks strength. After... After some point of time, the story becomes tedious. the twist at the end does not create much excitement to me. I found an unnecessary desire to focus on the victim's chest.
  
  On the positive side, it has some innovative camera work with unsteady movement. In fact, the very first shot is the most striking one. read

  The basic plot here toys with the idea that my enemy's enemy is my friend, to discover that the perceived enemies are actually friends plotting my downfall. I think that it is very difficult to produce this genre on small budgets - you really need make-up and effects to scare people. The editing is a bit on the slow side and dialogue a bit stretched out.   I think that it is very difficult to produce this genre on small budgets - you really need make-up and effects to scare people. The editing is a bit on the slow side and dialogue a bit stretched out.
  
  The twist is also unconvincing in an American context. In a country where your pants get sewed off for almost anything, I would certainly not believe that the whole exercise is a prank - like the girls does.
