  It's a good premise. The actors all gave fine performances. I like how they played everything straight. Unfortunately, the comedy itself didn't work for me. It was too forced and over-the-top. I think the piece may have worked better if the gags involved more subtle topics than sodomy and eating through one's rectum. I can see how jokes like that can be funny on paper,...   This is more of a comedy sketch than a short comedy film. It is well acted, filmed, lit, edited and all that sort of caper. I should say that I am a fan of Monty Python, Blazing Saddles et al so I don't consider myself a prude but this left me a bit cold. I found it too Beavis and Butthead, frat boy snickering-like for my taste, the fact that it was well made is really all... This is more of a comedy sketch than a short comedy film.   PS I thought that the website address would fade after a few seconds and I was a bit disappointed to see it left up.

  This was a cool piece. Nice use of limited setting to keep costs low. The angles helped keep the space from feeling confined. Nice job with the atmosphere in the office space outside the break room that really added to the authenticity. The acting was pretty good, but the new guy seemed a little stiff in his delivery. Great writing with twists that kept it fresh. Ending was good but once the reveal of the new guy's quirk happened, he spoke too long. Perhaps would've been better if he would've said he was leaving, then stood up and left without a word then cut to the last shot with the cursed screamer. Look forward to more of your work. read

  This film unfortunately wasn't my cup of tea. The writing wasn't all bad and it had a nice weird tone, but where this film lacked was in the execution. Sure, comedy usually has an elevated acting style, but the overacting was everywhere in this piece. The main character seemed too angry even at the start, and I would have appreciated if his irritation grew bit by bit. The... This film unfortunately wasn't my cup of tea. The writing wasn't all bad and it had a nice weird tone, but where this film lacked was in the execution.
  
  Sure, comedy usually has an elevated acting style, but the overacting was everywhere in this piece. The main character seemed too angry even at the start, and I would have appreciated if his irritation grew bit by bit.
  
  The sound levels were a bit uneven and the look as well as the camera angles were bland. The editing could have been tighter to cram out more of the absurdity, give a nice rhythm to the film and let it build until the end; thus making the last line be more of a punchline. read

  Good work! Loved the explosive definition of sodomy given by the main character. I laughed out loud! The style of the entire film was very over the top. I think it could have been interesting to have the actors reel it in a bit and give a more natural performance. They all had unique back stories but on the surface they all acted the same way - very over confident and in your... Good work! Loved the explosive definition of sodomy given by the main character.   I also think the story could have been strengthened if we maybe saw a brief scene of our main character in an office getting the "welcome aboard" speech from his boss, just so we know for sure that he is new to the company and also to make what happens in the lunch meeting scene more unexpected.
  
  I'm being very picky with the above. I really did enjoy this. It was paced perfectly and the sound/camera work was good. read

  Catchy, well written lines, well delivered by the actors. Really appreciated the funny characters and situation. All technically very good looking - really well lit, nice angles. All pretty high concept for an office comedy - reminded me of Kids in the Hall from the 90s. I'll have the bananas.

  where do i start. well let's start with the beginning. i felt it was going to be a bit cheesy, but i will say, i was quickly routed back on track with the subject and acting. it slowly turned into outrageous comedy. when the guy pulls down his pants and puts food in his ass... and wiggled in his seat and commented on the wasabi, i nearly lost it. it was just overall down... where do i start. well let's start with the beginning. i felt it was going to be a bit cheesy, but i will say, i was quickly routed back on track with the subject and acting. it slowly turned into outrageous comedy. when the guy pulls down his pants and puts food in his ass... and wiggled in his seat and commented on the wasabi, i nearly lost it. it was just overall down right comedy. i thought it up'd the ante as it progressed and the ending payoff was great. good job, well done with keeping it simple.

  Though this was a bit crude for my taste, I have to admit that it was funny and well played out. The acting started out a little off, but by the end was more involved and interesting. For a short comedy, good job. Not much else I can say. The guy at the end did catch me, which doesn't happen a lot, so good job in that respect. Thank you for reading...   This really wasn't bad, I quite enjoyed it. Cool little twist, good short film formula. The cinematography was very good, it was a bit of a shame you didn't vary the shots a bit, but that was only a minor thing. This could make a good little viral by the way.

  I'm not quite sure I appreciated the humor of your short. Not to say it wasn't a decent short, but the attempt at humor came across as a bit too corny for me. Camerawork: I thought the camerawork was excellent. Good composition and framing. The editing flowed very nicely with the scenes. Audio/Music: The audio was very good. The music was quirky and seemed to suit this... I'm not quite sure I appreciated the humor of your short.
