  The jump cuts the film starts off with were irritating. And there was a lot of pixelation in the fast panning shots. I honestly don't know if the film didn't load correctly because there were jumps and pixelation where I didn't think there needed to be. If this wasn't intended, though, I found it unneccesary.   One of the influences for this was obviously Lara Croft. Those movies dedinitely don't rely on strong scripts, and this one didn't either, which is the main reason it came up short. I have nothing against beautiful women fighting crime, but at least get me interested in the crime they're fighting. Is it obvious I'm a woman?
  The flashbacks were nice, but couldn't make up for the simplicity of the story. It was difficult for me to develop an interest.
  The acting wasn't horrible, but there was no intriguing dialogue for them to work with.
  I saw the production notes, and will be checking out the new film by this filmmaker. read

  This movie is just another wanna-be action movie. The love story was very BAD. I have no clue why you put it in there. The music needed to go. It got in the way, but don't think this whole movie was 100% a waste. The lighting was mostly good (there were a few scenes that were too dark) and the editing style was good. Just work on the story and you will go far.

  Before I start reviewing, I'd like to say it was hard to get a full concept of the movie, as the real player would occasionally skip. The camera work was definelty my favorite part of this though. The beginning zoom, the panning around, and the crane-like shots looked great. What crane did you use? The effect in the beginning to reveal the title could have been a little better.....   The effect in the beginning to reveal the title could have been a little better... Photoshopped (I'm assuming), but try to add some layers perhaps... Seems like that effect is being used too much lately.

  Well, lets see. Spy fiction is always fun, so the premise is on your side. From strictly a technical standpoint, The dialouge scenes need more coverage, a few more close ups. Depth of field also give a better illusion of film. I do this by having an external mic on the actors, and standing far away from them, then zooming in. I think the action needs to be tightened up. There are many long delays between people pulling guns and firing. Production values were pretty good, the warehouse settings and such. Its a good start, keep up the practice. read

  An otherwise excellently scripted, extremely well-paced movie which grasps the attention of the viever by the expert choice of accompanying music, marred by the "arty" stills and poor quality graphics.However, I'd recommend you take a look at this one. I believe the whole production team can pat themselves on the back for this masterly movie.

  Well, congrats to the Director for starting a project and seeing it through - I hope I can give some constructive criticism. My first niggle is that this film feels very heavily inspired by The Matrix, right down to the sunglasses and kung-fu. What it does not feel is original. Secondly, the plot is very predicatable: the girl realises her mistake and gets back with her ex... Secondly, the plot is very predicatable: the girl realises her mistake and gets back with her ex. Why not have her turn around and shoot her boyfriend at the end? Keep the audience guessing; guns do not compensate for plot :). The constant swish panning and rapid cuts also created a rather "music video" feel, not aided by the repetitive score and the use of a very limited palette (white/black/grey). The acting ranged from dire to pretty good (notably her 'operator'). My advice would be that ORIGINALITY in both plot and visual design are needed. Keep 'em coming... read

  A lot was well done here, in terms of professional looking filming and music. I think you have the rhythm of action films down pat, and in a way that's kind of a problem because it does seem kind of like all the rest, and I have to admit that's why I don't like most action films much. They seem more about cool graphics and formula right now than anything else and that's boring... A lot was well done here, in terms of professional looking filming and music. They seem more about cool graphics and formula right now than anything else and that's boring to me without some character development and a really good underlying story or concept. I also think that the beginning had a very video kind of look, maybe because of the harsh lighting out of doors, and the compression was terrible. Your music was suitable for it, even if the usual, you had pretty good unity throughout, and I liked your opening and closing credits a lot. I think you have talent but need to break out of the mold. read

  Pretty good film. I loved the locations you used, they were an excellent choice. The acting was ok. The only performance that stood out was the role of the hacker. I think an increased pace should improve on this movie. Some parts seemed to be a little to slow for the type of film you were going for. However, I did enjoy this piece.

  The Academy leader was cool... NOT. That;s like letting your underware show. I like the "Alias" vibe to this piece but it looked like a hokey student flim made by a couple of dudes on a weekend at dad's warehouse. The dialogue felt really hokey and forced. The girl is not tough enough. The tech bable was lame. Why does the chick have dark glasses on in doors? Why did the film... The Academy leader was cool... NOT. That;s like letting your underware show. I like the "Alias" vibe to this piece but it looked like a hokey student flim made by a couple of dudes on a weekend at dad's warehouse. The dialogue felt really hokey and forced. The girl is not tough enough. The tech bable was lame. Why does the chick have dark glasses on in doors? Why did the film have giant black bars on the side of the frames. You didn't need to digitze those mattes to eat up the bandwidth from the main image. This feels like the worst acting ever. The project is ambition and I like the black and white stuff. The overall attempt is really good, but the execution falls short. This chick would be way cooler in a black rubber dress or something more intersting. The props in this movie are first rate. The music was fine. I like the big confrontatoin scene when the dude talks about how he likes killing. Cool end credits. read

  This short film was an homage to the spy genre films and I think it succeeded in paying its' respects. The acting was probably my biggest problem with the film, yet I did like the computer hacker character, I felt he had the most comfortable execution of his performance while the other actors seemed as if they were nervous or uncomfortable.
