  I'm going to try to be as constructive as possible, but I cannot help bust having the tone sound negative. The story was uninteresting to say the least. It was simply a rehash of the Rocky and Bullwinkle type "rescue-the-girl-from-the-train-tracks" film mixed with Saloon music. Simply put, there's very little content to even review. The visual storytelling was competent, but... I'm going to try to be as constructive as possible, but I cannot help bust having the tone sound negative. The story was uninteresting to say the least. It was simply a rehash of the Rocky and Bullwinkle type "rescue-the-girl-from-the-train-tracks" film mixed with Saloon music. Simply put, there's very little content to even review. The visual storytelling was competent, but the acting was poor, the fight scene was trite and the attempts at humor were simply not funny.
  
  On the positive side, I suppose you did manage to make the footage look old fashioned. read

  Ive got an interest in this style of film making so as soon as i read the synopsis i was excited about this and it was indeed enjoyable and it was i didnt really have any faults with it other than it would have been a bit funnier if the characters movement was sped up a little and if the film stock was older and looked more damaged but then i supose thats just a personal preference...   In general I can’t stand 20s style movies, with black and white film, slam bang piano, silent as the space between stars actors; not to mention a distaste for tying chicks to railroads, having tied up a couple chicks in my time (a gentleman does as asked), I prefer the bedroom to railroad tracks, iron in the back n all. Despite these deep prejudices, this film had a fun quality... In general I can’t stand 20s style movies, with black and white film, slam bang piano, silent as the space between stars actors; not to mention a distaste for tying chicks to railroads, having tied up a couple chicks in my time (a gentleman does as asked), I prefer the bedroom to railroad tracks, iron in the back n all. Despite these deep prejudices, this film had a fun quality that made it less than awful to watch and that’s saying something from a punk like me. Good luck. read

  well your music fit the film you were trying to make....i didn't really like the acting and i just have to say though i am not much of a fan of this film and the way it was made. im sure there are better things to use 16mm film on and hope you find that in the future.

  I thought it was very witty and well shot. It was made very similar to the old school silent films in black and white. The acting was very average and the fighting was very blah. The slapping was kind of girly and could have done better than that. The music was very much like a silent film. In my opinion the music was probably the best part of the entire short film In closing... I thought it was very witty and well shot.   I was hoping to see the girl saved at the last minute from an oncoming train...but I guess you didn't have the budget for it. Overall, the movie was good. More than anything, I applaud you attempt to recreate make a slient movie. But you really didn't do anything new with it. I was hoping to see a fresh twist on it, but, like the train, it never showed up. Tech credits...
