  Who doesn't like a good zombie slasher?! This was great! I loved the idea of vengeful zombies seeking out revenge on their murderers. The main character needs to be a little more convincing though; he is getting eaten and beaten up by zombies, those screams should be filled with horror and pain! Overall, very entertaining. The music was well fitted in the story line to cast... Who doesn't like a good zombie slasher?!

  Overall, very entertaining. The music was well fitted in the story line to cast a true suspense. The lighting and effects were adequate for the genre, the zombies looked a little halloween-ish but worked for the short clip and the way the story was depicted.
  
  I enjoyed it, keep up the good work! I'll be glad to see other work from you in the future. read

  Good Atmosphere!

  I really liked the dark, gritty atmospehere of this film and also the hand held camera work that made it feel more real and scary. The music definitley added to this and the actors did a good job. I see that this film was uploaded five years ago so im looking forward to watching some of your newer films.

  Right on, I thought this was great - very creative and interesting throughout. The shots were well filmed and the editing was perfect. Even the sound was good. The lighting was a bit dark in some of the shots but I'm just nitpicking. Overall this was a fun short to watch that was well shot and had some great makeup and effects. It has my vote for sure.   The story is about a girl that is killed. A year later she comes back as a zombie and with zombie friends attacks a man. There are several good storyline features. The opening scene where the Zombie sneaks into the back seat, the old Alfred Hitchcock theme, The audience knows the Zombie is there but the innocent girl doesn't. The suspense it there and then the film wastes... The story is about a girl that is killed. A year later she comes back as a zombie and with zombie friends attacks a man.
  
  There are several good storyline features. The suspense it there and then the film wastes it. They summarily kill the girl, so much for the buildup!
  
  There are several plotbreaks. The story is about Zombies. The dead but undead. Why do they bleed if they are already dead? Why does the hero thimnk he can kill them with a knife slash.
  
  Worse why does he think he can kill the girl by stabbing her in the chest??? The opening scene has her being killed by stabbing her in the chest. That plot element was already used.
  
  Why-why-why. . .
  Why do the Zombies exist?
  Why do they want to kill this guy?
  
  What we have is a scene from a movie. The Zombie attack, not the entire film. read

  I liked it! The music at the start set for a good mood and got the blood pumping. I can't cheer too much about the effects but nothing was done poorly and we aren't talking a big hollywood budget. I liked how the killer remained a badass right up untill the end, not turning and running from the zombies or standing there screaming but trying to murder them all over again and... I liked it!   I liked how the killer remained a badass right up untill the end, not turning and running from the zombies or standing there screaming but trying to murder them all over again and his face was so serious about it like he was getting satisfication from it all over again, never really bothered that they were undead creatures returning from the grave.
  The chainsaw to the knee part was excruciating and he didn't really seem that effected by it, I don't care if you're chuck norris something that will have you screaming bloody murder for quite a while. But that was my only pet peeve, aside from that I had a lot of fun watching this short.

  The music sets the right tone right off the bat. I didn't care for the effect you used when the serial killer was digging. I get that it was a dream, but it didn't look right. I think it might be the combination of the effect and the dark lighting but it gave me a slight headache and I had to look away (not the effect you're looking for). Your zombies looked pretty good for $300. With more time, I would have liked to have seen the zombies come back with the same weapons he used to kill them. But, that is a minor complaint. Some of the effects looked a little cheesy but for $300 what would you expect? Nice work.
  
  I pointed out one effect I didn't like, but I should point out an effect I did like...your visuals at the end were amazingly tight and well crafted.
  
  This is good solid work on a micro budget. read

  I liked the idea of the short but overall thought it was poor because there's to many things in it that just wouldn't happen, like the car door being open in the begining and a chainsaw just sitting there in the front room. Other than the lack of making it feel real I thought the make-up was good and some of the editing for example the zombie smashing the window, we all know...   Great for low budget

  I thought it was very good. It is hard to make a decent horror film today. The makeup was great throughout the whole movie. The stab effects and blood, everything was great. Good acting too. There could have been a little more scary things, but for the budget, it was good. It was entertaining and I enjoyed it. Great job.

  Badass!There is definitely a promising future here. I love zombie films (and anti-heroes) so I am more than a little biased but the pacing and story here were just damn good. I was very entertained! My ONLY complaint with this film would be the use of so much overhead practical lighting. I understand you had a small budget but a couple of house lamps held off screen with... Badass!There is definitely a promising future here. I understand you had a small budget but a couple of house lamps held off screen with some bounce cards would have looked better. Might have been darker too, which would have been better in my opinion. Also, the redneckgrease guy's trailer should have been more redneckgreasier. If he had been a full-on, truck driving sister f*ker with trash and nascar stuff everywhere, I would have freakin loved this film. Actually, I loved it anyway. Excellent work everybody!!!! read

  You cannot kill what is already dead. (Character development is therefore sadly lacking!) This is a totally classic zombie film, replete with instruments of gory destruction and minimal dialogue. In fact, apart from two lines, it's almost a film without dialogue at all and consequently I wondered why the film makers had bothered putting any in, as it works fine without it...   I really enjoyed this film, possibly laughing at all the wrong places, but overall it was very entertaining. I found the music overwrought but with this genre it's possible to be ironic, although it would be interesting to make an edit that concentrates on foley and atmos instead.
  
  I found a few of the edits where weapons are picked up in need of an intermediary shot between the mid and the xcu, but possibly that's just my stylistic taste. Some of the matching doesn't quite work because of this, especially where the direction of the shot is reversed when the knife is picked up.
  
  Apart from this (and I'm a bit anal about this type of thing anyway), thanks very much to the makers! read
