  I enjoyed this film, and was saddenned by it. The male character was sad to me. His shyness kept him from trying to talk to the girl in the library. And istead of trying to break out of this shyness he retreats into a fantasy world. He is so insular that he never ever takes off his walkman in the real world or in his fantasy world. And even in his fantasy his shyness is still...
  I enjoyed this film, and was saddenned by it. The male character was sad to me. His shyness kept him from trying to talk to the girl in the library. And istead of trying to break out of this shyness he retreats into a fantasy world. He is so insular that he never ever takes off his walkman in the real world or in his fantasy world. And even in his fantasy his shyness is still an obstacle. It takes a violent act, that he stops before he can talk to the girl.
  But in the real world, he runs away. Which I find sad. Other then that I thought the film was well done, and made me think. read

  your first ending was the best. cut the other two all together. come nice shots in here and the tension was built in such away that i thought he was a "true" stalker. the editing could be a little tighter. I think you could easily trim 20 seconds from this film and make it much faster. trim the walking scenes - these always get boring) other than that - good work and keep it... your first ending was the best. cut the other two all together. come nice shots in here and the tension was built in such away that i thought he was a "true" stalker. the editing could be a little tighter.   The way they introduced the movie with the title and the beginning was very interesting. It looked as if it was going to be a good movie. In the beginning with all the angles on how we were seeing a view on how he was looking at her was interesting but the movie was very jumpy. The camera wasn’t still has it should’ve been in some parts. I found the movie a little dark when... The way they introduced the movie with the title and the beginning was very interesting.   I found the movie a little dark when they were shooting the shots of the guy. But overall I thought the movie was good. The ending kind of confused me at first because of the guy who came out of no where. But it all made a little sense afterwards.
  
  The music and angles and different shots were put together where it all fit. It wasn’t one thing and a totally different thing the next. It wasn’t a bad movie. read

  This is a solid well put together film. I loved how the story is told through the visuals: the relationship between the man and woman is told entirely through the looks on their faces. It is wonderfully cinematic. Some really nice choice of angles in the library is accompanied by really good editing. So far so good. The story itself is fun and well paced....but I think... This is a solid well put together film.

  So far so good. The story itself is fun and well paced....but I think having multiple endings is a cop-out. For me the first ending is far and away the strongest. It was a nice twist. I think the actual attack could have done with a bit more force. It doesn't really look realistic.....
  
  But for me the two additional endings do not add much to the equation. Still some really nice film skills on display here. read

  Not a great story but there is a lot to be said for your technical skills as a filmmaker. Great shots, great lighting, decent direction, decent editing, you got good performances from the actors. Nice score. Why is it not a great story? It is the story itself. Maybe it is too long in its telling. Stalker could be shortened by a minute to a minute-and-a-half. The end was better... Not a great story but there is a lot to be said for your technical skills as a filmmaker. Great shots, great lighting, decent direction, decent editing, you got good performances from the actors. Nice score. Why is it not a great story? It is the story itself. Maybe it is too long in its telling. Stalker could be shortened by a minute to a minute-and-a-half. The end was better than what led up to it. There are three moments at the end when the film could have ended. I actually was taken off guard by the real ending. Good twist. It is not a bad film. Good job. read

  I thought the ending was a surprise. I actually think this would even work if cut shorter but I still liked it. You did a good job editing it and I liked the angles of the shots. I would have like even more of a build up to her being scared of him. Even so, you chose the right guy to fool us and the girl!

  The way I see it, this film had three endings, none of which left me feeling satisfied, but all of which contributed to making me beleive you can't tell a story very well. I'm sorry to say that, but this is a very one-dimensional plot in which boy sees pretty girl, pretty girl is creeped out by boy, and then, inexplicably, pretty girl is almost raped by unnamed third character... The way I see it, this film had three endings, none of which left me feeling satisfied, but all of which contributed to making me beleive you can't tell a story very well. I'm sorry to say that, but this is a very one-dimensional plot in which boy sees pretty girl, pretty girl is creeped out by boy, and then, inexplicably, pretty girl is almost raped by unnamed third character on a residential street in broad daylight. If this is truly supposed to be a comedy, I would expect her to kick the ipod guy in the crotch as he walks by or to spray him with mace and run away. Something unexpected that is maybe a little funny. If you were going for drama, I think that introducing a real stalker into the mix would be okay if you gave clues that he was there all along. Good luck in the future, you obviously have atalent for making films, just concentrate on telling stories. read

  The music is very nice on this piece and the editing dovetails with the beat and action. There's a lot of attention to detail in the shots, such as the camera panning over the girl's face, and then the camera moving from one direction to the other to find the girl when she left the library. There was a nice twist in the story when the girl is attacked and the other guy is... The music is very nice on this piece and the editing dovetails with the beat and action. There was a nice twist in the story when the girl is attacked and the other guy is walking away. Then you realize the stalker isn't the first guy, but the attacker. Then at the end, it seems as though he could have been daydreaming all of this because we catch him back at the library or book store. Very nice filmmaking techniques, cute story, great soundtrack, good acting, and payback. Nice job. read

  Disclaimer: I'm a writer, not a film-maker, so my comments will not be on the technical aspects of filmaking. I thought you had a good story here and an amusing premise. However, I found the soundtrack distracting--espeically when the characters moved outside. I think the music was supposed to reflect what was on the mp3 player, rather than the action, but even so, I would...   I thought you had a good story here and an amusing premise. However, I found the soundtrack distracting--espeically when the characters moved outside. I think the music was supposed to reflect what was on the mp3 player, rather than the action, but even so, I would consider either fading the music out altogether, during portions of the piece, or using music that does support the action. Having the music so incongruent--especially when the guy is following the girl through the woods--was confusing.
  
  I found the first cut to black jarring. I don't get why you didn't simply have the guy with the Mp3 player turn around, see what was happening, and run back. Perhaps the intent was to build suspense, but it didn't work for me. It felt too manipulative if that was the intent.
  
  I think you're actors did a good job. I was initially bothered by the female character's response to her narrow escape, though. It didn't seem likely that she would stand there beaming at the guy who just rescued her, but rather that she would be pretty shaken by her experience. When the whole sequence turns out to be a fantasy on the part of the rescuer, the beaming makes sense, but before I was clued in to the fantasy part, it seemed like bad acting.
  
  I liked what you did with the camera angles in the initial sceen, but there music was a little distracting there, too--although during that part of the film, the music seemed to reflect the action.
  
  The only other major change I would offer for consideration is that it seemed like the piece needed to decide if it wanted to be comedy, or drama with a comedic twist. In other words, it was a bit uneven--I wasn't sure whether to take the action seriously or not. I think it might work better if the audience is more involved with the female character's pov--if they are seriously afraid for her--up until the moment that the male character passes her without incident. Or if they are more sure that she is over reacting and are laughing at her--and are then surprised by the hand going over her mouth. As it is, the tone is a little confusing (and again, I think the music is a problem there) and I wasn't sure where the piece was trying to take me, so it was hard to decide what to feel about the action.
  
  In spite of those criticisms, I did enjoy the piece and think it has great potential. Good luck with honing it. read

  Clever little story, nicely told. Your actors did a nice job, as did your cameraman. Nice shot setup. Good pacing. If I was a nitpicker, I would complain about you giving viewers a multiple choice ending... But I'm not a nitpicker, and felt like any of them worked fine. One of the best things about TS, IMHO, is not so much just the sometimes excellent advice you get, but the... Clever little story, nicely told. Your actors did a nice job, as did your cameraman. Nice shot setup. Good pacing. If I was a nitpicker, I would complain about you giving viewers a multiple choice ending... But I'm not a nitpicker, and felt like any of them worked fine. One of the best things about TS, IMHO, is not so much just the sometimes excellent advice you get, but the tough skin you develop reading your work brushed off as so much tripe sometimes. You have talent. Decide for yourself what ending YOU feel, and shoot it! Best of luck with future projects. p.s. Hot babe. read
