  i can finally give something on trigger street 2 thumbs up as such. short and sweet, wonderful sound in the background setting the bittersweet mood of child abuse. i mean, when the 3 of them are sitting on the couch looking serious and the title comes across the bottom of the screen i new damn well there was going to be a complete twist, but seeing it coming subtracted nothing... i can finally give something on trigger street 2 thumbs up as such. short and sweet, wonderful sound in the background setting the bittersweet mood of child abuse. i mean, when the 3 of them are sitting on the couch looking serious and the title comes across the bottom of the screen i new damn well there was going to be a complete twist, but seeing it coming subtracted nothing from it because it was just awesome in and of its self to watch.
  
  the only weakness i saw was the way the kid walked away not showing emotion really was a little unsatisfying, but, im not sure i would definitely have given different direction myself. so, good job.

  Excellent concept. Most unexpected turn of events here. The dialogue and acting were very apt and enjoyable. The score was perfect in its sort of surreal, childlike innocence. Overall this was a great concept but could have been much improved by more camera work/variety, especially to emphasize the effect it was all having on the child. Still, this was very enjoyable.

  The hat is perfect for the kid who faces his future in this short. Shot well, and the music works though it is a bit overloud for me. It was competing with the dialogue, though it did help to keep the mood. With this twist and well-thought out idea, where is the reaction shot? Was thinking perhaps, no reaction was the reaction.   Wild Abandonment!!

  This film was plain MAD. While this was absolutely a funny film the likes that which Monty Python would creme his undies if he'd thought of ( I know MP isn't a he ) it MUST be said that this film is quite dark, and nightmarish! This is something a child would fear the most in his darkest regions of the SOUL!!!!. But don't let the very short running time of this film fool... This film was plain MAD. While this was absolutely a funny film the likes that which Monty Python would creme his undies if he'd thought of ( I know MP isn't a he ) it MUST be said that this film is quite dark, and nightmarish! This is something a child would fear the most in his darkest regions of the SOUL!!!!. But don't let the very short running time of this film fool you, because it will hit you like an atomic bomb of the unexpected. AND FAST. There is literally no wait time for this trip to begin and you'll quickly find yourself holding your dropped jaw up off of the ground. This is the most profound movie of our generation, and possibly your child's. Alimony in the world couldn't help a family in this situation. Watch and be shocked.

  Oh, what a cynical little film! As a cynic myself I can appreciate that. Short, sweet and to the point. Good cast; the little boy breaks your heart. The music is deviously ironic. Reminded me a little of the Catholic family in Monty Python's Meaning of Life. My one technical note would be this: I might have considered including some tighter shots of the parents, in addition... Oh, what a cynical little film! As a cynic myself I can appreciate that.

  My one technical note would be this: I might have considered including some tighter shots of the parents, in addition to the 3-shot and the single of the boy. Or, if the performances warranted it, it might've been interesting to see the whole thing in one shot, starting wide and pushing in slowly on the boy.

  Your short film? Or the sketch of the divorced Father and Son from the Armstrong and Miller show? Yes, I've seen this comedy flick before. Which kind of spoils it for me. I'm now stuck, in the sense of how I rate this... If you had this idea without knowing anything about the TV show then it is very clever. If not, then your version isn't as good as the BBC version.   The Divorce is well made. The two minutes shoot by and the acting is competent. I'm giving Matt Bloom the benefit of the doubt and rating it as a Good and Consider. Well done for getting into the festival. read

  That was wierd

  just so weird. I don't know what to make of it. I found the punchline caught me off guard and it was initially funny, but as this set up and resolved I just didn't get the end. Was there an artist statement attached I lost. I just don't know. tech wise theres nothing to really report here, its one shot.

  Oh my! I did not see the unpredictable twist of the story the first 20 seconds in this one. This is a brilliant piece of work! The acting is stellar and the comic timing of what is said is what really works! Hope to see more of your work in the future - especially if you directed the actors.

  A brilliant little twist. But at 2 minutes this short ran on for too long. In fact after the twist it drags on and starts to lose steam. What you could of done was start to hand the kid his stuff, then wave him goodbye as we walks off. But anyway, well done and thanks for uploading.

  Hilariously, Wrongly funny and to the point, this short more than showcases the acting talent and clever script. It doesn't offer much in the overall visual set on the couch, nor with the final end. The close ups work nicely in and out of the estabishing shot, but that overall visual was somewhat too stagnant with the white wall as the only 'backdrop'. Then again, it's not... Hilariously, Wrongly funny and to the point, this short more than showcases the acting talent and clever script. It doesn't offer much in the overall visual set on the couch, nor with the final end. Then again, it's not the point of the video, but rather just to get the quick joke across. If this were audio, I would place it up for an award, because I do admit, the performances had me (I've heard similar concept before, but this still got me.)
  
  The script worked well with the classic reasons/excuses in explanation, channeled in the opposite direction. Overall it had continous pay-off, so the final goodbye seemed to wrap it up too easily. The child actor has great presence and response, but is then left to just get up and walk away? Regardless, it was sadly funny, and I recommend watching. read
