  Such a simple narrative but told in such an interesting, quirky and genuinely creative manner: really enjoyed it. The black and white approach worked well but it would have been great to get a splash of colour when they were in their costumes to signify a solution after possible sinister events.   i really enjoyed this film. it was nice and quirky, with a lovely feel and interesting choice of the voice of the narration. i liked the black and white look and the simplicity of the story, i felt it needed a little bit more of a conclusion though. well done.

  The problem with the story is that the conclusion- that both a fox and hedgehog are needed- is not supported in any way with the scenarios depicted. The filmmaker presented us with a fox and presented us with a hedgehog, then just said both are needed without having something happen which showed us this. Basically the problem with the story is the same problem seen in most... Basically the problem with the story is the same problem seen in most beginner fiction. The filmmaker is telling us something when he should be showing us.
  
  I don't believe the examples- the characters in the story who were supposed to represent a fox and a hedgehog were as funny as desired. The foxes "antics" should have been much crazier to be funny.
  
  I felt the film showed good personality, style-wise. Good production value. read

  um... I think I'm a fox

  I liked all the aspects of the technical filmmaking but I'm not quite sure of the story telling. I wasn't sure what FOX did at HEDGEHOGS desk when he went away for lunch. I like the comparison of foxes and hedgehogs but I'm not sure I get why they are being compared... Is it because the Hedgehogs are jealous of foxes? Is that the reason for the Darwin, Einstein, Shakespeare... I liked all the aspects of the technical filmmaking but I'm not quite sure of the story telling.   I loved that this is a short film with a simple premise...that it isn't trying to tackle too much in a short pace of time. There is a good dramatic set up and a very good ratcheting up of the tension between the two characters. However my only problem is that the pay off doesn't seem to pack enough of a punch. There is a good dramatic set up and a very good ratcheting up of the tension between the two characters. However my only problem is that the pay off doesn't seem to pack enough of a punch. In order for the ending to work, the competition between the hedgehog and the fox needs to be deliniated just a tad more, so that when the hedgehog turns smugly to the fox and says "One of us will be called back." (I'm paraphrasing the line), we know that one of them is about to get the sack. After the phone calls come, there's a shot of the two actors dressed in costume as their alter egos. I wasn't quite sure why this was done. In fact, to be honest, when the film was over, I uttered allowed, "What?!" But regardless, this is nitpicking about a story that takes place very cleverly in the span of two minutes. The technical execution of the film was excellent. It looked great, I liked the choice of shooting in black and white, and interesting angles were employed to reinforce the dramatic tension. All in all, I say well done. The film maker(s) have talent and ability and I look forward to seeing more examples of their work. read

  I thought this was a charming little film. It's the second I have seen with this duo of actors and they are quite talented and engaging I think. The story is simple and kept that way in the filming. Shots were well framed and overall editing was tight. Lighting was up to par as well. The audio was mostly consistent though there were a few drop offs. Overall a film I would recommend... I thought this was a charming little film.   Good.It's a nice story presented in a concise manner with an every day example. Can be more elaborative because the concept is big and can use a couple more examples for deepening the concept.Some more interaction was needed between the two characters. The ending makes good sense because the world needs both Hedgehogs and Foxes.

  Excellent framing, editing, and interesting use of black and white. The fox is well cast as a fox in the classical sense of mysterious face and uncertain behavior. The hedgehog is affable and entertaining and familiar, too. It all worked until the end when the math sums up what: lessons learned??? Would have preferred more edge to this finish on this one.   I have had this assignment before, but it had no sound, but this time I got lucky. Edits were smooth, told a very prophetic story; reminded me a lot of what my working enviorment in the corporate world was like, and how it was very important that we all get along.Great synopsis.
