  Although I enjoyed my documentary class . . . I've never particularly had a desire to make them. This has the look and feel of a typical documentary. You have achieved your objective. An example of a documentary I did enjoy: Salesman. The on the go camera work in this documentary is spectacular. This is a well made piece of entertainment. Your film is solid. The sound...   Your film is solid. The sound is good. It works . . . . The writing is sound. It mimics well the cookie cutter tv documentary . . . E Hollywood True Story.
  
  Acting is a craft . . . I hope your dad pursues acting if it is truely his love. I myself am an actor / writer.
  
  Not my typical review. I'm can't see any problems with your mockumentary. I can't give you much to improve it.

  This was quite inventive and very professional looking and sounding. Great job. Obviously you had some experience in production. The pacing of the editing was perfect and this was something that could be broadcast and be quite effective. The photoshop stuff was tight, the after effects were also. The performances by the two actors reminiscing about Dots history were superb... This was quite inventive and very professional looking and sounding. Great job.   I loved this film. It was very original technically speaking it was brilliant. Acting, lighting, photography, special effects everything was well done. It is outstanding that you put this together in four days. The story played out well and I love the interview session about Pac man. I can not find a fault in this.

  It was so nice seeing something worth watching again. This was highly original and had great production value. I wish I could offer up some helpful criticisms but to be honest none really come to mind! This was funny and entertaning great work! I think the only thing you would have had to worry about is the archived footage, but ifd everything is clear there then you definitely... It was so nice seeing something worth watching again.   A clever premise executed faithfully to the form. This piece is about the right length for what it is. The story could support another plot point or turn of events to be a little longer. The humor is in my opinion a smile, versus a rolling on the floor laugh. It is clever and true to the behind-the-music style format.

  I enjoyed this film; it cracked me up. The special effects were funky but perfectly appropriate for this style of film. I thought the premise was clever, especially the story of Pac Man and the dot com. The acting and naration was funny and authentic. Great story telling, I really enjoyed it.

  Iam not a great fan of this genre but anyway I liked it. The rise and fall of dot is hilariously done and when i was going thru the production notes, I can infer how much hard work went into this film. Good job with the interviews and it looked so professional. Summary: - All the best in festival!

  The production value on this was sublime; from the beginning on I was thinking to myself that it must have taken soooo long to do this. Time well spent. It was the perfect length (leave 'em wanting more). The best part where your spoofing was right on was when the two directors are telling the same story of pac-man coming in. That is exactly how TV shows do it. Apparently it's not enough for one person to tell a story anymore. I would have liked to see a reenactment of that scene however and maybe an interview with Pacman. Great job on a really good short. read

  You hit me right where I live with this piece. "I invented this thing called the 'internet'" and I had to pause the feed. The two guys talking about Pac-man really added to the believability of the entire piece. They were very natural. I would have liked to have seen more of the transition between Pac-man and Al Gore. You show a brief clip of Dot getting arrested, but I think... You hit me right where I live with this piece. "I invented this thing called the 'internet'" and I had to pause the feed. You show a brief clip of Dot getting arrested, but I think you could have done a bit more. Shown a few clips of police video and gone into some detail about his problems after getting knocked down from fame, or something like that. Otherwise, a wonderfully detailed documentary. I'm impressed with the thuroughness in getting the rights for all the footage. read
