  The story reminded me of Final Destination. If I hadn't seen Final Destination, I think I would have been more impressed by the concept. It was filmed pretty well although it wasn't clear, but that could have been my computer, I'm not sure if it's a film problem. The characters were interesting and the camera angles were effective. I think the overall mood was great, as... The story reminded me of Final Destination. If I hadn't seen Final Destination, I think I would have been more impressed by the concept. I think the overall mood was great, as the music definitely contributed to the suspense. I think it was a job well done, I just wish it had been the first time I'd heard of the concept. read

  The simple artistic primise is nice. But I need more from these charecters. Your basic log line is- "No matter how you fight sometimes it's just TIME" Cool. but make me get in touch with my own mortality. Give me a little bit about Stacey. Maybe she leaves from the lamaze class she teaches,or the battered woman shelter she voulnteer's at. Some defining chararestic I can sympathize... The simple artistic primise is nice. Right now she's a woman alone, and quite frankly I don't care. Kevin is just creepy. The way he comes out of nowhere when she's feeling uneasy-the doorbell rings and he's just standing there staring looking like a corpse. I hated. I mean unless that was your intention. Good overall. Falls a little flat for me. The lighting is a bit bright. Bring it down a setting or two for that creepy factor. I'd like to see more- but this I'm sure is not your best. Some angles and shots are nice. But the acting is dry, it takes away from the positive aspects of your metophore. read

  The video quality was ok, a bit hard to see. That is understandable though due to the file size constraint and the length of the movie. The audio was a bit quite at times. The acting was great! The Synopsis is definitly a very accurate one. The idea was different and quite unique. I did enjoy this movie and would like to see it made into a bigger production!

  Nice horror attempt I'll say. The opening shot set the right tone and 'Time' well delivered all the way throughout. The story was not completely oriiginal, but what is it really, truly original anyway nowadays? I quite liked the fact the woman was just completely unaware of something going wrong and that she was very much into her own things, before it all happens to go wrong... I quite liked the fact the woman was just completely unaware of something going wrong and that she was very much into her own things, before it all happens to go wrong. That worked quite well, at least for me. What I found 'inconclusive' was the end (SPOILER ALERT!) with the policeman just arrestiing the guy on the front garden without even checking what was going on inside the apartment and/or listening to what he had to say. Fact is, I felt this ending being inconclusive for up to that point I had really enjoyed the realism of this short, even when things do get surreal-ish, you know. Other than that, acting was good, the girl delivering a very good performance. Camera work was nice (I loved some of the still wide shots,) sound was clear. Music was overpowering everything else and I am not sure I enjoyed that much, at times. Best of luck. read

  Unnerving

  This was a strange one, something about it was very un-nerving. I was spooked out by it, perhaps the grainy/tv quality that was lent to the film, I don't know, but it worked. The compression could be better but the acting was excellent and the story was top notch. Very good film.

  I sat through 9 minutes of this film trying to figure out what was going on. It was slow and painful and died in the first two minutes. The idea of death coming to claim his victims is good but i think you tried to overdo it in this film, all these close up shots and terrible music that sounded as though someone was testing out their new synthesiser. I found it really hard... I sat through 9 minutes of this film trying to figure out what was going on. It was slow and painful and died in the first two minutes. I found it really hard to get into this film, and the story seemed everywhere, I'm sorry to be so critical but I'm frustrated that it didn't deliver. Everything else was okay. read

  I will have to agree with the studio head and pass on that one. the story is LAME. what is the purpose of making the viewer sit through 9 minutes of this??? I think that what is happening during those nine minutes is example after example of the filmmaker's innefficiency to tell a suspensefull story... KEEP IT SHORT. The same story could have been told in 1 minute, so... The same story could have been told in 1 minute, so why so much effort to hurt the film in the end? I did not understand the extensive back and forth between tight and wide shots. What was the purpose? This shows little though has been applied as to where to place the camera... The music was too much, and the acting was terrible... what more can I say? SHORTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read

  I thought the acting was good, production value with the cop car added a lot. Although, as far as being accurate (which probably doesn't matter) the cop would've searched the house and at least looked into what this guy was pleading to. Not a biggie, I just knit-pick when it comes to being accurate to things in real life. ANYWAY, it was watchable, not much reasoning behind... ANYWAY, it was watchable, not much reasoning behind this monster, I didn't really get the storyline because I didn't really feel there was one. But again, what storyline does "Evil Dead" have and those are classics. read

  The only things I can see that really need improvement are the lighting, the lens, and the music. The lighting was a little dark in some spots and it looks like you might want to white balance a little more between setups. The lens was quite dirty, you can see this especially during some of the lens flares (keep a lens cloth handy). The music seemed a little too much some... Good shot selection and editing. Keep up the good work. read

  Most films in this genre are intensified by their soundtrack (which was great) and what the filmmaker doesn't show. The suspenseful moments are usually ones in which nothing is happening, but we are lead to believe something is about to happen. This film shows the "poltergeist" or the "presence" a lot. It may do it one or two times more than necessary. I like the hand in the hair while she is typing, but I didn't like the man leaning over her shoulder right before that. It seemed almost comical. I enjoy the shower sequence. The cuts from the shower head, to the living room, to the foot stepping into the shower. Very well done. Here again, however, was a somewhat comical shot of the man falling to the floor. It is my oh so humble opinion that the film would benefit from less of the comedy and less of seeing the "presence" in the home, but I can't say what it needs more of in its place. The director has a great eye and sensibility. read
