  The film was too dark. Not sure if that was due in part to the video transfer to your computer or if that was a mistake. If it were your intention to shoot the film dark like that, you could have done a better job at getting that darkness across to where it still had clarity for your audience. The music in this short piece was absolutely beautiful. I sincerely enjoyed it... The film was too dark.   The music in this short piece was absolutely beautiful. I sincerely enjoyed it. The soundtrack suits the film and moves with the images properly.

  Good feeling coming into this, although weary that it might be self-indulgent and morose. Well, it was self-indulgent and morose, but with good production values and interesting music choices. Not that I liked the music choices, but perhaps they worked for you. Storywise, it has promise. We often hear about failed attempts but don't often see them in film without the addition... We often hear about failed attempts but don't often see them in film without the addition of other players. The 'Three Days Later' was actually kind of hilarious when put with the music, and then the eyes opening, too, again because of the music. Three days slumped in a chair? Ouch. Why did she want to kill herself? Who knows and who cares, right? Although knowing something more might have helped me feel more empathy for the woman. As is, there really wasn't a story told, more like an ending with denouement. So, it appears to me that you have the technical production side down well enough for your purposes, but need to work on storytelling. Good overall effort, though. read

  It was pretty haunting. Suicide contemplation is such a personal moment for a tortured soul, yet we're watching it from afar. With that in mind, congratulations to your actress for a believable performance. I saw a lot of expressions and actions that seemed uninhibited and as if the character was alone and had been alone for quite some time. I may just not have gotten it,... It was pretty haunting.   I may just not have gotten it, but I have no idea what you were going for at the end. I've heard of people who have attempted suicide and woke days later, is that what you were going for? If so, what was the realization? Was her attempt shortsighted? I felt like your story ended right at the climax, making it seem like there should have been more. Surviving a suicide is huge, this person wanted to die and fate just second guessed them. There's a lot of introspective potential in that ideal, why not explore the aftermath?
  
  Whether or not you should have added more, your film is obviously thought provoking, which is a victory in my book. Great job. read

  This film depicts the innermost feelings of a person about to commit suicide at its best. The composition and the shots achieved to take me where I am supposed to go. Music was extremely effective in its context. Performance was amazing. Even though I did not know the person, I felt sympathy for the character. There is the director's credit. Despite being such a depressing... This film depicts the innermost feelings of a person about to commit suicide at its best.   Despite being such a depressing subject, and despite the film being so dark, the film never made me feel like turning it off half way. I wanted to see the end of it.
  
  The reviewer (right before me) who thought it was a fresh start and cribbed about the film not doing preproduction needs to read the production details first - it mentions that the film was made as a stress reliever without a script and one key light.
  
  
  As an avid moviebuff, I am used to films of all style - and knowing fully well that I was watching a short, I did not expect to enlighten myself with a backstory and I watched the film without an expectation. However, I was very pleasantly surprised by the poignance and honesty in the film.
  
  I did not need to know why the person was trying to end her, who she was, if she was justified, if she should die etc. I just needed to see her at that point of time and I did. And it panged me.
  
  As a person who had once tried to commit suicide, this film certainly resonated with me. read

  I did not get to see other uploads by the user, however, to be completely constructive, the lighting definitely needed to be better. It seemed the entire short was an idea and the filmmaker wanted to shoot it right away without any proper preproduction work at all. I found myself more than once squinting my eyes to try and figure out what was happening in the film. The camerawork... I found myself more than once squinting my eyes to try and figure out what was happening in the film. The camerawork gave me a bit of disorientation throughout the entire piece, however I felt that type of cinematography would have been better after the woman is beginning to fall out of consciousness (the POV shot where she is seeing everything blurring) to better situate the audience with her reaction to the overdose. The music seemed a bit jittery, however I'm not sure if everyone else agrees with me. It tried to hard for me to feel for her when i knew nothing about her. maybe if we could actually read what she was writing I could have connected better, but again I couldn't see very well. Not sure if you wanted to keep that ending as well, it did not make any sense at all. however I remember when i first got into filmmaking and thats why I felt this is a pretty good first start. just start planning out things better and pay close attention to detail. those types of perfections are what people see most! read

  This film was really dark, both figuratively and literally. The film could have been a lot better if the lighting had been brighter. I liked the solitude of the piece and how the girl was alone at the "end" and then at the new "beginning" which happened at the end. This film could have been much stronger if the audience was given a bit of personality history into why the... This film was really dark, both figuratively and literally.   This film could have been much stronger if the audience was given a bit of personality history into why the character was offing herself. We really couldn't sympathize because we didn't know her.
  
  The music seemed a bit distracting at times because it was so well produced (maybe over produced).
  
  Still, the construction of the piece itself was nicely done and felt cohesive in its tone. read

  This was a pretty good movie and one of the few I’ve scene about suicide that had any credibility. The music did a pretty fab job though at first I was worried, where would you have been without it, the actress was good and had a truth to her performance that was impressive (where would you have been without her), and the direction and script were good, the camera and editing...   I thought the concept and flow of the film was really good. To me it showed the desperation that person faced with the decision to end their life and the pain that they were suffering to arrive at that decision. The ending was a real surprise. How pathetic it would seem to try and commit suicide only to wake up three days later. Maybe this is her hell.

  I was very impressed by this fim because it home with myself. Suicide is not something everyone thinks about but the ones that do are either looking for attention, or are really serious. Many people that hear someone talk of suicide all the time think they are just looking for attention,but the truth is they should be heard because you don't know if it's crying wolf or a plea... Don't take the chance of believing they are thrill seekers!. Anytime someone talks of suicide make sure you take the time to hear them.. read
